What do you guys think about this manga?

GANTZ is great. It has good artwork, lots of gore and giant boobs.
I also like the basic story, though I really hope that we get some more information about GANTZ, its purpose and its reason for doing things the way it does.

The chapters are too short.

I think it's about time they start explaining things..
there has been too many events, and we still don't know what the fuck is going on!!

This is a great one my favs cause its so diffrent and i like how everone can die,im still afraid that Kie will die. The art,story is topclass.

Im also waiting Kie vengance and his fight with his vampiry brother and how the hell did he become a vampiry and most importan who does GANTZ work and why are there vampiries.

It pretty clear that he will revive Tae,cause he loves her more than everthing and she is the only one he cares about also he cares litte about Kauto.

It logical even in GANTZ cause he was happy for the first time in his live when he met Tae and he would never bother bringin back kauto and kishimoto if Tae didnt die in the game.

About the coming plot,i think sometime soon they will have do something about the vampirys who are after them.

Why does everyone think the artworks in that manga are so great? The monsters are nicely drawn, but the movement and dynamics are weak, and the computer work hurts the atmosphere. It all looks sterile in a way.

Well, some parts are nice, but I don't like it particularly, and if the story weren't so hooking I would pass this by, just from the looks of it.

I didnt like the copmuter work in the begining but now it feel like that it fits GANTZ so good.

The Graphics of GANTZ is one of it's uniqe Features
or at least it give this manga it's specialty

Nice chapter. It's good to see that the other characters besides Kie also gets some time in the spotlight.

I just hope that the story gets more focused soon. After Tea died/disappeared the mangaka should have taken the opportunity to make some bigger changes to the story's flow and pace.

GANTZ is terrific

the idea is fascinating, its like "the matrix" meets "the running man". yeah the chapters are a tad short cause each gantz mission takes like 2-3 volumes, but it has a ton of gore, action, humor, and manga chicks . never tried the anime though, but i doubt it could be at par with the manga

I dled the first few episodes, watched them, but I didn't buy into it. First of all, while the violence isn't censored much, the nudity is. Second, they have some weird camera movements, but to do that, all the backgrounds don't have a lot of detail, not comparable to great anime. But what put me off most was the same sort of semi-static motion that was in the manga, and everything took ages. The action is slow, and weirdly cut (and then censored, too.)
And then there wasn't really anything new, seeing the people in motion doesn't give me much over the manga.

So I scrapped it again, and I'm not sorry.

Som mangas just dont make good animes speciely if you censur them. Thats why i skipped the berserk anime and the gantz anime.


This chapter was good,i liked it when he punshid the killer.

Didnt yous find the killers eyes strange? I thought for a second that he was one of the vampires or some other nonhuman .
