Doesn't sit well with me. You're really diminishing the complexity of that moment.
I know and you're absolutely right but that's exactly the thing.
If I had to explain the entire situation and the actual emotional weight it has I might as well just write another article.
I wanted to keep it brief and I was never going to do it justice like that so I just went with the bare essentials.

Actually, you could have related Guts with Atrocious' ordeal. One went through the Eclipse, the other had his people killed by Manhunters. That would have given some depth to both characters or related Guts with someone of a similar backstory.

I started drawing this thing.
I need to tighten my pencils, ink and color it.
It's looking pretty good so far.
I didn't get too crazy with perspective and shit and I just went with a head-on, full body shot of all these dudes.
I'll post the finished linework when I'm done with it.
It might actually be finished tomorrow.
I'm thinking of doing color holds and shit so I'm pretty excited.
EDIT: Designing the costumes and stuff was good times.

Darth Vader's ring reminds me a lot of the lightsabers from Spaceballs.

Still laying flat colors.
This is going to take a lot longer to color than I thought.
Especially is I want to do all the crazy shit I want to do.
