Most of its is property of Matt browning, and a few of them are from deviant art. it was a long time ago when i got them so i cant give links to them.

It's been a while since I last colored a picture, so I thought I would just make a new post.


Obviously since the beginning of my previous post I've gotten alot better; although I know it's not that great compared to other people. Even so I enjoy it. If anyone wants to know how its very easy and I can teach you.

ya, thats a lot of coloring. it's good though and were they posted in chronological order? it seems like you are getting better . i really like the "things aren't working out, but..." coloring you did of guts and casca. the detail in that pic is just amazing (to my eyes at least lol). and I really like the animated sig you did. good work and keep it up!

edit: btw, (not sure if this is what you've been doing or not, just some friendly advice incase you haven't ) if you want to add on to your post, but have it register as a new post, copy your old post, delete it, and start a new post and just paste the old one in there. not sure if edits still don't register as "new posts," but thats a trick we used to do a long time ago.

I don't think it's exactly in chronological order, but it would make sense if it was, since Miura's art style now adays is alot more detailed, It's alot harder to color than older pictures. And thanks for the tip about posting I'll use it in the future if necessary.

These 3 are the ones I like most.




I've seen alot of fan art pictures of Casca where her eyes are the wrong color. They should be brown-black, but most often I see them as blue, which is weird because almost every fan of Berserk has watched the anime, in which her eyes are obviously black. Also some of the pictures above have wrong hair color (Blond Griffith and brown hair on Farnese & Serpico, etc). But anyways It's not that bad of a mistake I just wanted to point it out as some advice for future fan-artists.

I haven't really been in the mood of coloring Berserk recently, but I have about 10 half finished pictures which will probably make their way to this forum sometime this summer(north hemisphere)

also I will look through another 200 pages on deviant art later and post any more good pictures I find, although I'll probably stop looking when every picture on a page is about naruto and bleach.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Some of those fan art ones aren't that great, but some of them are pretty hot.

Wow man... you posted a lot of stuff. Your pictures are great, and most of the other stuff you posted are too... but its a little bit much.

Since you've done so much, I'm gonna start a petition for you to re-do the whole manga in color!

A lot of artists either don't know the correct eye color or prefer to change it to whatever they like; since blue and green eyes are more unusual, they are therefor more interesting. That's why you see a lot of blue and green eyes in drawings, but it's pretty weird to have Caska with blue eyes considering her skin is dark.

I just noticed it but your princess Charlotte is great : I mean, I never felt an ounce of pity for the girl (being the prey of her father and Griffith) during my reads but this colored version is actually adding something to her, like a bit of personnality ;

Wow thats really really ridiculously good. Its also my new background for my pc at work. I bought a canvas... maybe in a couple of years I'll do a Berserk painting. Too much other stuff in the way.
