To be honest. I asked because I'm fairly sure its not in there.

O.o Not so sure I agree with that quote. *shrugs*

I doubt a well written address would have motivated the Scottish people to claim their freedom quite like the blood of William Wallace did, for example. :P

Its not to be taken literally, the Quran just like other holy books is also full of lines that approves of selfdefense and the art of destroying your enemy ;)

Just think its a good qoute cause there is also a message of love and respect for knowledge.

Buz: Why dont you think its not in the Quraan? the Quraan cant have a qoute that isnt negative? Dont believe in everything you hear about the holy book. Its not more negative than The Bible or any other holy book, its just a trend to talk bad about Islam these days just like wiki page for The Quraan is full of only cristism for the book and the religion.....

I have read The Quraan for many years, know of many qoutes like this. heck you can even look it up without having to read the book, go to wiki or any other site with Quraan qoutes.

I'm not gonna lie. I've never completed the Quran. I started re-reading it about a year ago and im on the very last suparah or book. Im gonna be finishing it this saturday. So alot of my knowledge is very fresh. It just, I think that if i came across a quote like that I would have remembered it.

Mr. Felony, very nice avatar. Does it have a deep personal significance? (Consider it rhetorical since you probably don't feel like answering a question you must have answered years ago... I just don't have the willpower to surf through the 50 pages of this thread...)

Now...
Is my avatar cute or what??? Best get your fill 'cause this weekend I'm replacing it with an avatar so sickly sweet you'll be dropping 2G at the dentist on Monday. Tablets rock!
