How much of Gits are you talking about, just the original manga, or some of the later ones, too?

Well, there is the original manga, then there's Man Machine interface, and some other volumes of stuff. The original manga didn't strike me as very good, I thought it was far worse than the movies or the series for some reason, although the characters were slightly better.
