Old Miura artwork, 1 volume only, was released by manga-sketchbook so you can get it on the net. I didnt find it good.
He did King of Wolves too.

On the net too. This one was ok, but 1 volume is too short to developpe in something good.

Sooo not all that great then...If Miura is only doing half the work, it can only be half-good I guess. I've got respect for the guy so I'll check it out regardless.
I tried finding info on it myself, but obviously if you type Japan into Google a whole load of crazy shit comes up.
Cheers for the links and comments guys.

Just because Miura isn't writing it doesn't mean it's going to be horrible. IN fact I'm pretty sure King of Wolves was written by the guy who did Fist of the North Star.EnglishJim wrote:Sooo not all that great then...If Miura is only doing half the work, it can only be half-good I guess. You're dead right. Although I didn't expect to be taken so seriously. If I did, I'd be saying all other works apart from Miura's are rubbish. And that's bullshit.Tempest wrote:Just because Miura isn't writing it doesn't mean it's going to be horrible.
BTW if you check the links, you'll see the author of Fist of the North Star/Japan/King of Wolves are all one and the same. I gonna check 'em out, not much to do 'til 280.

Hello! I've just registered, and hopefully I'm providing my first, introductory post in an appropriate place. I first learned of Berserk, like many, through the anime - and once I found there was more to be had in the manga, I scoured the internet. Of course, this led me to the Hawks, and when I had caught up to the newest issue, I found Evil Genius and their chapter-by-chapter releases. I own the entire 6 DVD set of the series (plus a fancy art box), and will soon be buying the Dark Horse publications. Luckily, I live in Toronto - an extremely multi-cultural city - and Chinatown here will beat even Amazon to new Berserk merchandise.
I look forward to contributing my two cents in the forums, as I sincerely think the Berserk manga is a rare example of story-telling brilliance. I also want to keep a look out for word on new Evil Genius (and Dark Horse!) releases; I'm not worried, it seems those threads are hard to miss.
Anyway, that's enough. Sorry to have threadjacked, it's not something I normally do.
