Coyote ragtime show!

The latest and greatest of Japanese Animation. Found something new, or perhaps old and arcane... if it has to do with anime, it goes right here.

Watched first ep, promising so far. I wouldn't say it blew me away, but there's promise. First eps are often not so good.

from the 1st ep, you probably will mistake who the main characters are.
looks promising. undoubtedly, it will just be another vanilla shounen adventure story.

but so far into ep 2... nice animation, colourful characters, fair amounts of action and predictable plot.

Hmm, ep. 3 is here, and while it't not bad, it's still not the real kicker for me. Something is missing, and what is there seems too forced.

people have compared it to cowboy bebop. being sci-fi spacey action and all.
its sorta like black lagoon also. just sit back and enjoy the adventure.
and watch the colourful characters vie and fight and try to uncover where or what is the hidden treasure.

I have to say it's nowhere near CB, yet.

It might get better, so I'll go on watching.

its that jumpy retro music that they play when things get action-packed that reminds me of cb.
its always down to the music.

Up to ep. 5 is out now, it's still not bad, but so far the big kicker hasn't been in it for me. Too much wannabe CB, and too little own substance. They draw a lot from the good old big heist sort of movies, which at this point in time works so-so.
I'll go on watching, but only because it's not bad enough to stop.
