[Poll] Video player of your choice

Post by t.A »

I was interested what kind of video playback software a you using. My guess that the most popular will be Windows default, but just in case some other variants are also included;) (I believe I have mentioned the most popular, but just in case “other” is there..)

edit:
Ok I have forgotten to write my own answer - VLC for everything. What I like about it is that it plays virtually everything + shortcuts to scroll through video with just few touches is very useful in case I’m not fast enough to read all the subtitles=) + software sound amplification + small and no utterly idiotic skins. Mplayer would be the second choice, but its totally geek – like if you say that you use LaTeX instead of the Word, people tend to stare with eyes open wide like WTF mate? =))

I mainly use Media Player Classic, though i occasionally use VLC or WMP if i need to.

The thing I like about VLC is the ability to play a video as a wallpaper. That's cool to do sometimes.

I have CCCP installed so my video files usually play just fine on MPC.

zoom and mpc are mly favs. vlc is good, but its hard to find exact spots of the video because the scroll is inaccurate, might be cos i have an old version though
