How about $4.50/Gal in Alaska!! in some of the smaller villages it is already up to $5.50 to $6.00 per Gallon!!!! And we even produce some of the crued oil so how does that work? I heard that most of the oil we produce also goes to Japan and Asian countrys.

Was at about $3.07 per gal here a couple weeks ago. It went down for a bit but seems to be rising again.

euhm, in Belgium its 1,5 €/ liter. I don't know how many liters a gallon is, but this is a record in Belgium.

Edit:
1 gallon = 3.8 Liters.
So i would be paying 57 € (1€=1$) for 10 gallons.
Lol Damien, thats the double what you pay.

Gas prices have gone down here, but we will SEE how long they stay down, and they didn't go down by much, but still its better then going up i guess.

And I forgot to say that if the gas prices go up, the electricity and water prices also go up with it. It's supposed to be related with eachother, lol.
And here is another one. They want to make taxes on fat!! There are too many fat people, so they make all products with high fat percentage more expensive.

i think cutting taxes on gasoline and cutting useless regulations on emissions would help reduce prices.

remember, government does nothing as well as the private sector of the economy.

Necroed, but in my area it is just under 3 dollars. The lowest I have seen recently was in the 2.70 range.

Buy yourself a bike with some space to load things, a garbage bag to cover things, some boots and raincoat and you will be fine for summer.

Topic is worth carrying on about, since we're seeing the summer hike again.

I have a large truck, and I filled it this morning from just about empty (Low Fuel warning was on) and it cost me $78 at $2.79 (I have a 29 gallon tank). I'm not sure the mileage I'm getting, but I'd expect something around 15. I'm split pretty well on highway and city driving. Highway for work, city driving to hang out with Ayanami and Co.. I did notice however that gas earlier this week when I put like $10 in was at $2.85-9 at most places, and now I'm seeing $2.75-9 or so.

On that, another question: do you 'hunt' for cheap gas? The differential here is about 5 cents. So let's say my tank is bone dry at 29 gallons. If I fill @ $2.75, that costs me $79.75. If I fill @ $2.79, that costs me $80.91. At those total prices, I can afford a buck I think. What about you guys that drive more fuel efficient cars (I'm looking at you, Ayanami and The Fallen)? Do you look a little harder since your tanks are smaller and you're getting better mileage?

in toronto there are radio station that have segments that report the cheapest gas in the area, so i dont really hunt for gas, but i "know" that soem streets are generally more expensive then others, so ill go to the generally cheaper stations

I pay about 30 bones to fill up my tank. Depending on how much driving I do, it can last a week and a half or two. I love my feul effecient car. But I would really like to have a hybrid.

My VW Jetta gets better gas millieage than most Hybrids. However, I live so close to my work that I typically only head to the gas station perhaps once a month.

May change now that I'm moving further away.

Depends on the driving as well. Hybrids do best in city and not highway. I do mostly city driving, so I want one.

it may not save much fuel.
but when i see drivers unnecessarily speed up and then braking soon after, i think of all the fuel that was wasted and how bad the driver was.
