Call for rank titles...

Alrighty, it seems that some of you have reached 400+ posts, be it by normal means or in some cases spamming the hell out of the off-the-wall forum. Here is the ranking as it is right now:

I want to run this by everyone to see if we like the ranking system (something I came up with after 4 pints of Guinness). Please add more, rankings... or come up with a totally new ranking system. Keep it consistant, funny or even berserk related. The more ranks, the better in my opinion.

Note: berserk themed ranks would be quite nice.

i say get rid of the ranking, people will just respect the high posters only. just give everyone the power to edit their own title after like 50 posts.

Okay, I'm going to post my list of 40 different ranks. These are the ranks we use for The Council of Hynneth Kore's message board. However, I don't ever get to see it in effect, because everyone who uses that board has specially designed titles, heh. Anyway, I'm not sure if it'll be what you're looking for, but it stays fairly consistent with itself. Perhaps you could use some of it. That would make me happy. If you have any questions about these ranks, just post them here. Oh yeah, by the way, it's Sannin, not Sennin.

Starnum: care to modify that with post counts too?

Generally referred to as the Densetsu no Sannin. (Legendary Three)
This tends to be where people get confused. Jiraiya calls himself Gama-sennin, which means frog hermit. Naruto calls him Ero-sennin, which means perverted hermit.
Notice that a slight difference in spelling can mean something completely different! SANNIN = 3 people SENNIN = hermit.

Heh you should have seen us the first day, I think i was at like 120 or so. Dio far surpassed me though, he hasnt been on at all though. I think he got to about what he is right now(like 375 ish) in 3 or 4 days.

I really like halfnhalf's suggestion about being able to edit your own title. Mainly because the ranking system seems a bit redundant, since it's based on your post count, which everyone can already see anyways.

Eitherway, I personally don't care that much... all up to psi29a and suggestions for final titles

The rank system is something fun, and is only that. The non-standard titles/ranks are there to designate that those people are ones that are consistant, follow the board and trends, typically been around for awhile, and have shown they can be trusted. (Namely Mods and Admins) and only Admins can change the titles/ranks.

The ranking system itself I think is funny, that is why I tried to come up with funny stuff. By all means continue and come up with more material. If a majority feel that the ranking system is bogus, I can remove Titles all together. *shrugs* Or I can just remove post counts, and leave the titles (based on posts anyway). Up to you guys.

It just mean that the mods didn't change their own titles

I personally like both(post count and rank) there, and I have a low post count. Somewhat tells you who the regulars are and what not. Plus they are funny.

The reason I post this in Berserk was to get a berserk theme going, but I can move the thread to off-the-wall if you guys would prefer more funny stuff (not genin... perhaps more sennin jokes though).
