Don't fear the darkness until you see what light can do.
Guess i missed something. Can someone explain to me how is Griffith a moon child?
I thought it was an avatar of the elf king guiding them to the island, as this cut from chapter 344 confirms when Gedfryn appears.
Schierke is simply making an assumption, she might be wrong. The moonlight boy being Guts and Casca's child manifesting through Griffith's egg-born form has been a theory since the boy was first introduced, and Griffith disappearing in the light of the full moon does seem to support that notion.
Now, question is if he'll show up on Elf Island and be affected by the time dilation there...
The way i understood it was that the child inside the egg became Griffith when he manifested himself after the ''second eclipse'' at the tower.
Still, if moonlight boy is Griffith, why would he help Guts and Casca?
Dammit man! I don't care about the damn politics of Falconia. It's been more than a year since we last saw Guts and Casca. Miura is really being cruel with this cliffhanger nonesense, lol.
As for moonlight boy, yeah a lot of us thought it might be the spirit of Guts and Casca's child. So if it really is still connected to Griffith, then he's not himself when he changes, but rather their son.
