Re: Rock Band 2.
I told the guy that was singing White Wedding as I played guitar to constantly hold his lips like 2 inches away from his face and to always pull his eyebrows together to make it authentic Billy Idol.
I 5-star'ed Peace Sells on Hard no problem.
Fucking love playing those metal songs.
This game needs more Iron Maiden.

Awesome.
I have Rock Band 1, but everytime a new guitar Hero/Rock Band/Play along and pretend we're not DDR game comes out I have a harder time motivating myself to buy it.
Hell, I already have GH 1-3 and Rock Band 1...

Necro!!!
I had to post this. So I got Rock Band 2 for christmas in 2008 and I've been playing the hell out of it this whole time. Well, after months of playing expert drums the worst thing happened: the pedal broke in two. I didn't take pictures from when it broke, but you can clearly see the line where I glued it from. That's not all I did to fix it though, I added two pieces of metal to the top and bottom of the pedal as well to hold it (all the pictures are after having fixed it):
Basically what I did was disassemble the pedal, glue the two pieces together with super glue and then attach these pieces of metal I cut from a metal bracket that used to be part of an outside light fixture.
These pieces of metal:
I melted the bottom of the pedal so the metal piece would fit nicely inside without hitting the base when pressing the pedal, then I drilled holes and screwed the pieces together with a 4 screws and nuts. Afterwards I placed the aluminum cover on top of the pedal, covering the metal piece. There's bulge, but the pedal itself works perfectly, so I don't mind. And that's it, one fully functional Rock Band pedal saved from oblivion at no cost.

The whole album! Oh, that's too awesome.
Re: Rock Band 2.
I'd get it just for Hangar 18.

Re: Rock Band 2.
Starnum knows what's up.
Holy Wars is an absolute surefire purchase for me.
So is Rust in Peace.
Beyond that, I think Take No Prisoners, Hangar 18, Poison was the Cure and Five Magics are all possible candidates.
The whole fucking album is amazing.
I hope they get around to releasing some of Megadeth's Endgame stuff eventually.
I'd kill for Headcrusher and This Day We Fight.

Re: Rock Band 2.
Rock Band was a great game, but was not without its complaints. The level of challenge offered for guitarists and bass players was not high enough. For experienced players that mastered the most challenging songs of Guitar Hero (such as “Fire and Flames” and “Six”), Rock Band’s challenge appeared somewhat lacking. Taking this into account, Harmonix has upped the challenge, and then some. Expert level difficulty is certainly worthy of its name, with an almost sadistic difficulty provided in some tracks, such as “Visions” and “Panic Attack”. That is not to say that Rock Band 2 is less accessible.
We must change in order to survive.
