Calm chapter but with nice development going on, it's a little early to make any certain guesses about what's going on aside from the fact that the village has been under the influence of this "Sea God" before the merge with the Astral realm.

There's this emphasis with the village girl being supernatural, especially with the question in the end of the chapter. I'm curious about her.

Also that thing in the end looks freaky.

Looks like the "Sea God" is another Apostle - and the ghost ship might be a spawn of it.

Still waiting to see Berserk continuing!!!!!!!
But i have to admit that the girl in this capter makes me really curious!
The best thing of this chapter is, that we know when the next chapter is going to be published!
Thank you EG-team!
But can't you release Berserk a bit faster? ----- It is a JOKE, i promise :)
Good work, thank you once again.

Thanks for this interesting chapter :D
Wow I can't imagine what will happen next.
But I have the feeling that they will not fight against this sea god or whatever it is, they don't seem enough alarmed about this, but it's too early to jump into conlcusions :V
+1 to creepy monster :D

That was a good, nicely slow paced transition chapter. A little uneventful, perhaps, but a good chapter nonetheless.
Thanks as always for the scanlation, guys.
Regarding the contents of the chapter itself, I am pretty sure the creature at the end must come from real folklore. I'll start googling it out now, and tell you guys if I find anything interesting.
Also, does anyone know where does the architectonic style of those houses come from? I feel like I've seen that stone-slabs-kept-together-by-nothing-more-than-gravity style before. Cyprus, may be?

EDIT 1: Still haven't found anything. In the meantime, enjoy:

wow
i love how Miura takes inspiration from real places and mythologic monsters :D
I remember a shot from Vritanis taken from Florence or another italian city, and the place where gatsu and serpico fought which really exists and it's exactly the same to the real one O_O
great job :D

edit: found the site (italian) where you can see all the similarities.

Now, that is impressive.

So, Gaiseric ruled over the empire in which the sun never sets?
Nice. :D

Yeah, that is nice. I new Miura, like many artists, has a lot of inspirations, but you can see just how much material and research he puts into his work.

Wow. A couple of those comparisons seemed like a bit of a stretch, but overall it's amazing how similar they are. Just once again demonstrates how incredibly (and accurately!) detailed Miura is.

Thanks as always for the chapter EG.

But it's not the island I was hoping for, so I'm sad.

But then I remember that tomorrow I get to go partying in the Olympic mayhem, so that brings my spirits up.

I personally liked the cute thing Roderick said about Farmese being his fiance.

I'm looking forward to seeing which "god" Miura is basing the thing in the cave is on. There are so many to choose from, given how eclectic Miura is, but you know it's going to be awesome.

Just as long as it's not Cthulu...

I think you mean, "Lovecraft", and yes Cthulu is from H.P. Lovecraft.

Woot Ctulu! I designed a play based on the Lovecraft stories. It was a lot of fun doing to ctulu style costumes. I should show you guys if you're interested.
