Thanks for another great release EG!

So, yay, Guts is finally back, badass as ever. His big damn heroes entry was awesome.

After this frame, you just know that serious asskicking will follow:

There's only one thing I can say to that, lon3vvolf.

Well done.

dialdfordesi I feel the same way ;-) I was talking to myself as to any other around here :-D
This is really interesting situation. They are on the ship so they do not have much options(possibilities) unless Guts turns to Berserk... Ok, Schrieke could do some of her stuff(which may sink their ship anyway) or maybe even Farneze could do something(which could be even worse)... I think this whole rumble with this pirate ship is to see how Guts is now standing against his dark side. This is not just some random fight with demons - it is gonna be so bloody interesting.

Exactly.

Even though these chapters are much narrower in scope and scale compared to those centered around Griffith, seeing Guts and crew definitely brought forth a little sense of nostalgia from the good ol' Blackswordsman days.

How many people here were members of this community before chapter 287?
I joined around that time, so I've never read action-filled chapters (or at least action in which Gutts is involved) as they come out.

This is gonna be awesome! :D

Great release. It's good to see Gutts and Co back again. The next chapters should be really great.

Also, props to lon3vvolf. Your pumpkin-carving skills are fantastic. Makes me want to get some pumpkins and try berserk-ifying them myself.

It seems like the pirates have merged with those vagina tentacle things. :/

Anyhow, it was a decent read. Can't say it's my favourite so far.

Yeah, that's around the time I joined. I remember you posting back then too. I think you were already a member on the Digital Panic board before me. Nice to see you're still lurking about. XD

As I recall, I joined about the time when Guts was fighting Serpico underneath the castle. Somewhere around then, anyway.

There's something very Zen about that sentence.

I joined around when Roderick came into the picture, right around when they first got on the ship to go to Skellig. Before that I read Berserk in less than a month on the computer lab computers in my dorm in England. I had nothing else to do, the country in England is even boring that the country here, at least here in BC we have forests.

I wouldn't relate to that seeing as I'm an atheist, not a Buddhist. Not familiar with zen philosophy.

I like your Berserk Abridged Series btw. That episode where Final Fantasy 8 was ripped on was funny.

Since when (classical) atheism and Buddhism have been mutually exclusive?

PS: Hbi2k's Abridged series is the best thing that ever happened to the Berserk anime. The flashback Caska had in the cave was pure fucking gold.

Well, I'm not all that familar with Buddhism, but I would think the ideas on reincarnation, the true nature of reality (as opposed to the veil of illusion in which we currently exist) and other such aspects would clash with atheism.
