"Zanpakutou", and no, I don't think he has a twin type. Technically it's one weapon, as it's connected by a chain, or at least they've never said he had a twin type. Oh, and his name is Hisagi Shuhei, if you're curious.

What makes Ukitake and Shinshui´s Zanpakutous (Thanks Starnum) unique is that both of their swords require a chant to be released which implies that both of them may have different abilities.

Hisagi´s sword only has one chant despite having two weapons linked by a chain.

Yeah, that's a good point as well, thanks Deathbringer. The fact that his weapon only has one name is kind of a big tip-off. Heh, and I didn't even think of that. :P

his sword still looks pretty wack but I'm glad bleach is going back to sword vs sword fighting. It was so boring seeing all these energy dbz like attacks

Why was it that Ikkaku didn't want to use his bankai again? The fate of the world is at stake and he risks everything because he doesn't want others to know he has a bankai.

If Ikkaku's life is all about living in the moment, then I doubt he concerns himself too much with what's going to happen when it all ends. He's probably made a personal oath not to use it in front of other captains, short of being ordered to by Kenpachi.

It's because the whole purpose of him having it was to defeat kenpachi and he doesn't want anyone to know he has one or something like that.

Bleach has gotten ridiculously boring lately so when or if this manga ever picks up from the filler characters I might be able to read it.

Soi Fong is one of my favorites as well. I love her 2-hit death technique, its something I would try to come up with.

my god where is his focus? there is too many damn characters. He starts every chapter off with one fight then he jumps to another. This manga is hurting from the amount of useless characters he continues to keep around.

hahah seriously this guy has run out of ideas
Next week soi fong wins ( of course) than we'll see some captain fight annancar he'll busts out a crazy new move /end chapter
in two weeks captain is hit with new attack but somehow has the ability to come back and win in the end, repeat x6 until we see ichigo fight again and save that chick

Well, Ikkaku lost.

No one saw that one coming.

And Soi Fon is holding back for some reason, that´s probably going somewhere.

Yeah, I agree, he needs to kill off some of these side characters. Not Ikkaku, but I wouldn't care if someone like the second division lieutenant died.

That´s his main problem, really. Sure he starting killing character in the Hueco Mundo arc, characters that he too the time of developing with flashbacks and clearly showing their personality (Nnoitra especially) but he really needs to kills good guys now.

But i really liked the beginning of the chapter, Soi Fon was trying to induce fear, but instead just gave Ggio time to bust down the wall and escape.

Next time, just kill him instead of thinking your next sandwich idea, bitch.

Look at how sure Aizen was when the whole fight started, I wouldn't be surprised that he threw all the arrancar at them to get killed as part of his master plan. After they're finished (or almost finished) winning every battle, he'll make his move and go like "you fell into my trap, ha ha!".
