Shaka Zulu: Cool video. Now what makes it weird is that one of my friends was in the marines, manning the tanks. What he did was hooked up his ipod to the tank's audio line, basically had music play through the tanks interal speakers (of course he made it so that if they got incoming calls, the call will over ride the music playing). But what this soo weird that they would play that exact song when shit was hitting the fan. He was telling me about how all the guys in the tank would just be screaming to the song when they were firing the main cannon. Now that is crazy.

I dont find it weird, as in not weird choice of song for that kind of occasion (ultimate blood pumping song, but yeah its bit crazy its really used in serious sitautions like that). Its probably most common or one of the most common songs for that kind of purpose (not just really fighting, but for in the Gym too). Not only in real life, I seen it used for couple of movies (and youtube real life Iraq-war clips, many of the clips used that song).

The reason I discovered this song is I saw a trailer for a new Iraq-soldier movie called Stop-loss. Didnt look too interesting. The only thing that stuck with me was this song, which they were naturally using in the war/action part of the trailer.

what i was saying what was weird is that my friend used that song in actual war, i mean, he was killing people and screaming it at the same time, basically glorifing what he was doing. I know the band that plays it, Drowning Pool and have a few of their cds. The music i listen is some pretty heavy stuff and my roommates think that its is some angry music...

Yeah its weird if you really think about it, but frankly I'm not suprised by it in any way even if we should be. There is alot of ways to indoctrinate soldiers, to make them dehumanized, make them numb and get accostumed to killing as its nothing else but a simple average task....and getting them immersed in a fitting music like they are just out on a stroll or playing a game, is a big part of it (anything to take their minds off of what the gruesome act they are committing).

I'm pretty sure this has been posted, but the 300 video reminded me of it

plus that video made me want to rewatch 300

edit: for some reason it's not embedding the video :?

I think I figured out why some of the embedding doesn't work.

if you post a link such as :
in the youtube tags it won't properly work... however when you ad in the "www." part it works for me.
Oftentimes you just need to clean the URL a bit.
For example:
"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHK0uFb6Vzw" instead of "http://youtube.com/watch?v=bHK0uFb6Vzw" within the youtube tags.

So "{youtube}http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHK0uFb6Vzw{/youtube}" (with "[]" instead of "{}")
results in this:

Thats hilarious in a completely non-homo-erotic way... seriously... stop giving me that look!

That televangelist looks almost like he's fighting. Some sound effects would make it a lot funnier.

And about the youtube links, just remember to put "www" and get rid of any extra tags after the ampersand. Here's an example:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHK0uFb6 ... =35&t=1562

This is what I got when I clicked on the bread video on lon3vvolf's post. You only need to use the first part marked with red and orange:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHK0uFb6Vzw&eurl=http://www.evil-genius.us/forums/postin ... =35&t=1562

The ampersand (&) and everything after it is trash, also don't forget the "www" and "http" that go at the beginning. Here's the final code:

[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHK0uFb6Vzw[/youtube]

Wow. Gaiseric, you deserve a medal for finding such an inspiring clip. And shes a blue belt too, as demonstrated by her top notch falling abilities when pushed slightly. I too shall follow my heart and give her one more head... if you know what I'm talking about.

Actually, scratch that last one. I'd punch myself in the face each day if I woke up one day and was like that.

LMFAO @ the new vids.

Man, too many things to comment on. So of course I'll go the nerdy route and say the one, I was surprised the guy said Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku half decently. ;)

Nah, I really like watching good wow parody videos, and that SF shit is just ridiculously funny.
