Just watched Superman: Doomsday. It was pretty good, action was terrific. The fact that you actually saw people die on screen was the greatest part, but that was pretty much it, the story was way too obvious. There were a lot of scenes were Lex Luthor just begged to top superman. Oh yes, he's gay for superman. So totally.

Superman: Doomsday> Superman Returns

Doomsday was very well done, and the Lex that they had was the LEX that should always exist.

i dont know what else to say it was good.

I liked how they actually put more violence into the Doomsday movie than what was in the animated series. It allowed the cloned Superman to be that much of a darker reflection of Superman. It's too bad that they didn't have the Cyborg, Eradicator, Superboy, and the Man of Steel though.

I saw We Own The Night. Garbage..

I felt like this movie had great actors and no good acting. A lot of weird camera angles and action scenes. The movie jumped too much from one plot point to another.

This director is no good at telling a story

All in all, I knew i should have watched michael clayton.

Eastern Promises.

It was good. I felt like it lacked something though. Maybe something with the characters. Anyway, I liked the mood and overall movie quite a lot. I like Cronenberg.

I know I'll sound gay for saying this, but Hairspray was good. Christopher Walken married to John Travolta, who wouldn't love that. 3:10 to Yuma was great too. I didn't expect a western to be so fun. The costumes were so good. That young guy who was ArcAngel in XMEN 3 was in it, and he was cool. Also, everybody had a beard, which made them look cool. Well, other than the women and the kid who played Christian Bale's son. He was also in The Number 23, but he actually looked better because his hair was cut and not in his face. When did having tons of hair in front of your face become a fashion statement for kids? At least not all of them have their pants around their knees anymore.

There's an halloween Night on 26 for 30 Days of Night in My theater. Wich is great because movies at midnight are cool. Plus, I work until 10 pm usually. I really liked David Slade's directing in Hard candy so I really have to see this one.

I wasn't really satisfied with the ending of "We own the night" so I snuck in to the last 20 minutes of 30 days of night. I concur, really freakin awesome.

However, the movie I most want to see is this...

Enchanted looks really funny. And don't go see A Bee Movie, it's really stupid and therefore boring.

The whole time I was watching Saw 4 I was falling asleep. Granted, I did go see it at 10 pm, but it just wasn't too interesting. I did like the twist at the end, but after a point that's all you're looking forward to.

I enjoyed how they delved further into Jigsaw's background, and overall philosophy. "See what I see" "Feel what I feel" "Save as I save". Heh, yeah I eat it up. At some point they'll go too far with it, but it's still a sight more creative than the umpteen sequels of some of our classic horror films. Whenever Jigsaw stops being morbidly fascinating and somewhat shocking, to just being a joke like Freddy and Jason, then I'll prolly start to loose my taste for it. :P

You gotta keep it fresh, gory trap deaths can only get you so far. So how long can they try to be creative with the plot. The story of Jigsaw and his actions can only go so far.
