i heard the simpsons movie was going to be good, but not as good as the greatest episodes, like the one in which homer got a job in the nuclear plant of a Dr Evil-kind of guy (you know, Austin Powers Dr Evil) and he doesnt note anything unusual even when he accidentally knock out a James Bond-like guy who has just escaped from a trap of lasers by throwing a coin to the laser canon, step into his boss oficce while the man is threatening the UN, and many other "subtle" hints of his boss evilness (evilness is the word, isnt it? sorry, english is my recently learnt second language).
God, i loved that episode....
a yeah, the movie.
I think the movie is more likely to be at the level of "Homer gets intelligent" , or "The springfield monorail".
In other words, its probably going to be like a long good episode.

His name is Hank Scorpio, and yes, the movie is ok but nowhere near as funny as the best Simpsons episodes. I wouldn't rate the movie as high as the monorail episode, it's much lower; probably around the tomaco episode when the jokes were scant but still a little funny.

Just saw Sunshine at my local theater. I really enjoyed the movie and how they question what is right and what is wrong. My friends didnt like the 3rd act of the movie, but their excuse was that they didnt uderstand the movie (even though you know the premise of the movie in the first 2 minutes, it doesnt change ever).

A fun sci-fi movie that asks all the right questions.

My fav ep is the one Bart sold his soul. Its soo funny. How weird it gets for him in wiki mart. How when he tries to fool Ralph Sheriff Wiggum catches him and Bart reacts like he is a vampire

Those was The Simpsons at their peak. Better tv show than those years i havent seen.

I thought the movie was pure crap.
The first 30 minutes was ok but then the camera begun to shake and the focus was non existing.
They must have been really f*cked up to be satisfied with that crap.

It was awesome when
they came to Alaska I laughed my ass off at the PFD part
but yes all and all it wasnt great but it did have its moments... come on the spider pig part... well the pig part in general was pretty good.

Transformers was awesome a ton of action, mech fighting and it was pretty funny too... Prime's voice made the movie for me it was the same as the cartoon movie that came out a long time ago.
best moment was when Prime took out his sword and Decapitated that Bonecrusher on the freeway.
I got a little disapointed in the Simpsons movie.

Disturbia was really good up until the last 20 minutes, then all logic went out the window and it became pure crap.

I liked it too, but it wasn't anything to write home about, that I can agree with. Curious though, why do you say that?

Was i the only one who noticed the microfones standing just above the characters head when watching Disturbia?

In the classroom scene, you can almost see the entire fucking thing, i mean what the fuck is up with that?!

And this wasn´t like a one time thing either, this was through the whole freaking movie.

I liked the simpson's movie, everythign it needed to be. Tom Hanks bit was too good, seeing bart's "doodle" was kind of out there, and quite possible the most acting that Maggie has ever done (besides shooting Mr. Burns). Oh and mr. burns telling mr. smithers to commit suicide, awesome!

My only problem was, why Arnold? why not Rainier Wolfcastle, which i think would have held true to The Simpson's.

and if you are wondering... the guy who did the voice for Russ Cargill did the voice for Hank Scorpio.

I feel the same way about Hairspray. At the moment, though, I really would like to see Superbad, Hot Rod, and (when it comes out) Balls of Fury.

Saw super bad yesterday, it was obviously hilarious. it captures high school very well. I, and the people i went with, all agree that it is as good as if not better than knocked up. It's a different kind of movie (high school quest for sex vs mid-twenty pregnancy debacle) so knocked up seemed like a deeper comedy lol. It lagged slightly in the middle where i was thinking it didnt stand to it's hype, but it picked up. It deserves most of its hype though.

I definitely want to see it. I think the style of humor the main guy uses is pretty funny. Uh, the guy that played George Michael in Arrested Development. Yeah, you know the one, he's funny. ;)

Ok this is why I thought the last 20 minutes sucked a** :P
When the police just searched the house after Kale (Shias) was screaming he had a dead body in the garage the murderer could just simply sit back and take it easy. He didnt know they had caught a dead body on the tape the asian guy had. So why in gods name did he just push Kales mother face first into the wall and then go berserk with the baseball bat?
Furthermore, why didnt he try and run away once Kale got past his permitted zone thus notifying the police? He knew they would come. Well that was mostly what disturbed me the most about the ending
Anyone saw THE INVASION ? I kinda liked it. The directing was good and it had a cool mood. I'd give it a 7,5 on 10. I have not seen the first version of the movie with Donald Sutherland so I can't compare. But I saw the 1993 version. I think the new one is better than the 1993 version. WAY better.

What disturbed me the most was that Kale could see a Blue Ford Mustang from his far away neighbour from his bed through the window which was 10m away from him, in the middle of the night... without goggles or binoculars...

Fucking awesome, period. Cant wait. Like anything historic, but Ghengis Khan epic in particular interest me, firstly because its not western history(and not done by hollywood, thankfully...they actually wanted to make Channing Tatum as Ghengis, like the sacrilige of having John Wayne as him before wasnt enough...), hence not overused (actually like non-western big empires, like the persians for example...its largely ignored)...But also because I'm reading a book series of the Khan right now and its ultra fascinating to get the images to the brilliant writing.

I finaly saw Simpsons the movie. I took my little brother, alittle cousin and a newphew to see the movie. Despite its almost 3 months since the premeire, the salong was still full.

It was more Hahaha humor than the tv show who usually have more ironic humor. Still it was the funniest movie i have seen in a very long time. We laughed non stop even when it was drama scene cause of Homer messing up. I laughed so hard i had tears in my eyes. I had swipe the tears away all the time just to see the movie clearly

It was even better than i hoped and im glad Groenig and co didnt let us down the tv show has been fav tv show for a long time even it hasnt been as good for years now.
