The Fall

Post by The Herald »

I volunteered on this independent film shoot this weekend and I had so much fun, but man I'm pooped. I worked 15 hour days for free, but I met all these awesome industry contacts. Including one guy who was WAY older than me that kept hitting on me, but I didn't let it get to me because he's like one of the best gaffers in the Vancouver movie scene, which says a lot because we make so many movies here. Like X-Men. And 15 years older isn't that bad. 8)

So, how's everyone else's falls going?

Fall's kick ass.

Santa Barbara this halloween.

Road trip across california and back a bit after that.

Then comes the winter... and trust me.

You dont want me to get started on how sick a winter it will be.

One thing I like about Fall, aside from the awesome whether, and the fact that my birthday is in a couple of months, but a lot of my favorite shows are starting up again. ;)

I have exams every Monday (yeah there's one today), but the classes aren't so bad. We just got ophthalmoscopes and otoscopes so we'll be practicing with those this week. School's pretty demanding but it's some really interesting stuff.

Yep, Fall sucks. The weather always looks like it gonna rain, but it never does. Autumn is one hell of an indecisive bitch.

I like rain, it sounds and smells so pretty. And it's romantic getting caught in it. Or sexy. God's way of saying "Wet t-shirt contest!" if it's a flash storm.

Fall's the best season of the year. I grew up in California where you have next to no distinguishable features to attribute to Fall. However nothing for me is better than going up to the cottage in Ontario during the fall and seeing all the leaves change colour.

The only thing that sucks is raking leaves. Backpack leaf blower, go!

I'm not melting anymore, that's a welcome change for me.

i'm excited for halloween. we're holding this halloween costume thing at the movie theatre i work at. it's the night before haloween and the two movies we're showing are american psycho and harry potter 6. yeah, i know, wierd combo, but having harry potter will encourage tons of costumes, and american psycho, well, come covered in blood and half naked and you're set! we'll be handing out prizes to the best costumes and a free candy to anyone who comes costumed.

although i love university i do not love my roomates boyfriends who don't live in my dorm ... they never leave and just keep reminding me that i do not have a boyfriend. whatever, no time for boys anyways. must work!

football meh, but i do like the beginning of fall for the baseball playoffs. go st. louis!
