Because this is version 2.0, and out with the old and in with the new. The former thread was becoming quite a beast anyway, it's good to start fresh, I guess.

I liked your old Ava better then the one you have right now Eldo. Is that a burning tiger/puma? Tenjou Tenge? Can´t really remember if it´´s someone with a tiger in it, I can remember a dragon though

That's like asking what is the difference between a fish and a lizard.

Kirin are more 'gentle' creatures, they only appear in the lands that are prosperous and rule by a wise and great leader, and usually accompanied by a sage guy. Although their body is on fire, no blade of glass is burnt on trampled by its hooves when it is walking. Kirin only attacks if a man of pure heart is threatened by evil or whatever. Those are the things I can pick out of a hat at this point.

While dragons and Kirins are mystical in nature, kirins are mostly harmless, I guess.

I know the diffrence by thier characters i have seen Junni Kokki or Twelwe Kingdoms i think its called too ,but the thing in your av looks like a dragon.

That's what it's supposed to look like, the one from Junni Kokki is not exactly an accurate depiction of a kirin from the myths.

Meh if you cant trust an anime like that for accurate myth then whats next
