I've been on a Suikoden kick here lately. I'm replaying through the series. Anyone else play any of the Suikoden games? It's still my favorite RPG series. There are so many awesome features that you just don't get from other RPG's. 108 playable characters, hell yeah!

I played 2 and the one on PS2 was it 4 or 5? Where you could get two or even three of the characters to do a special skill.

EDIT: you know I actually wanna play one right now, which one do you recommend?

Well 3 is probably my favorite, but 5 and 2 are also really good. Honestly they're all really good. It's hard to pick favorites. Those 3 I just named are all really close, it's hard for me to pick between them. Don't worry about 4 though, it's the weakest of the 5 by far. ;)

Man, I really wish they'd make a new one, but that's pretty unlikely at this point. :(

I just checked out a few youtube vids and yeah the one I played was 4 haha, I really liked it actually, I still remember "Adonis Attack" it was so cool lol.

Why did so many game company's stop making RPG's? Konami stopped, Capcom stopped and a few others.

4's not bad, but as I said, it's easily the weakest of the series. If you liked it, then you'll love the others. I recommend playing 5 next. Either that or start with 1 or 2 and work your way up. Like I said, 3 is probably my favorite, but the first 3 are all fairly connected. You don't have to have played any of the others to follow the story of any individual game in the series, but you'll get more out of it if you do play them in order. 4 and 5 are pretty much standalone though. ;)

I played the first one and loved it. I'd go as far as saying it's one of my favorite PSX RPGs.

Surprisingly, I haven't gotten around to playing 2-5 yet. I've come to find that the general consensus is that 4 is skippable, 2 is the best one, and 3 and 5 are very good. I've been meaning to play 2 or 3 next, but haven't found the time yet.

Is the DS one any good? I would assume it's not, but that's an assumption pulled from my ass, so...

I haven't played the one on DS, but I've heard it's vastly different from the others.

Looks good but it lacks the n00b-goading flavor of your elf.

That's why I chose it, it's so wrong, but there's something so funny about it.

This is kinda random but I've been playing Suikoden III. I see that's where you pulled your avatar from. It's a pretty good game, it's quite different from the first two though. The battle system really threw me for a loop, but I'm enjoying it overall.

Sometimes I like to change my avatar to a picture of my favorite character from whatever show I'm currently watching. Thus, I present Rygart Arrow of "Broken Blade".

Meet Eren Jaeger. Thought I'd get in early and pick up the series Shingeki no Kyojin while it's still airing. Seems pretty good so far. I look forward to seeing more as the story develops.

Moritsugu Reiji from Kurogane no Linebarrel. The manga is really good, and I highly recommend it. Skip the anime though, it's garbage by comparison.

Yeah the Manga of Linebarrel is much better than the anime. Though I think I'm a volume or 2 behind on the updates.

I'm really jealous of DrPepperPro's animated avatar, so I had to make one for myself, and since Futurama just ended (for the 4th time) I thought this was appropriate.
