Well, for those of you who wouldn't donate any money, then you have no right to complain about others.

As for me, I would donate, as in, to my friends and family. My whole crew would be fat paid! The more money I had, the more people I would affect, so I'd make a difference.

Well my friends and family woudl enjoy in it. I am not that greedy, just not strangers. Then again if I was rich I may have a different opinion. Right now I wish things were cheaper and I got paid more. But don't we all. Currently my conscience's main purpose is to go "Wait. You can't afford that."

Piracy did take its toll on Hong Kong. It affected the Movie industry heavily, since a bootleg was released before the movie. So the production sum was more than the profit sum.

Reason why Hollywood shouldn't complain and HK should? HK movies are directed to people confined in a tiny arse island not seen in atlases, while Hollywood is seen across the world. There's a much larger audience for Hollywood, such that if 20-50% of people does download from the net, it wouldn't affect them as heavily as HK cinema. And still they make loads of cash.

Those HK bootlegs are usually quality bootlegs too.

I wouldn't download so many HK films if they were more easily accessible here in the US.
