Cant help but comment on the fact that if this had happened in America it would be called a terrorist act and they would be attackin countries like Pakistan..

Bullshit, if the weather caused a dam to break in the US they wouldn't call it a terrorist act.

...unless the terrorists have some sort of device that can control the weather.

Storm no longer works with the X-Men. She fled to her homeland in africa and joined a terrorist group to help free her country from oppresion. She now causes massive storms and tsunamis, to kill many people.

Damn her and her terrorist activities.

Im not saying that it would be a terrorist attack. Im saying that gov't would say that just to have further reasons to be in the middle east.

I wouldn't put it past Bush. Every reason we went to Iraq was a lie. Apparently its ok for a president to lie to the public, in an attempt to become a dictotor in a democracy.

Don't like the way politicians as well as the media twist the truth. Remember the female US soldier that was 'captured' by Iraqis but happened to nurse her back to health? US forces burst in the hospital filled with innocent doctors and nurses that were helping with injuries, and the US forces were there busting teeth. Then, when the soldier returned to America with a 'successful' and 'triumphant' rescue, she had amnesia and 'forgot' she was being helped and nursed by Iraqis. Can't remember the full details, though. It's sad, really, the way politicians and the media are selectively reporting information.

But I see what you mean Buzhashi. If a dam breaks out in US, the first cause/blame woulda been a terrorist attack.

Its mainly the Bush administration and the conservative media. I wish it woudl be like the 60s and 70s when the media was liberal and actually did not do government propaganda. But what can I say, we now live in a world where everyone is a sheep that blindly follows its sheppard into the wolf pack. Well evey great nation or empire must fall. We are ready to start that downward spiral. We are making all the same mistakes that every other great empire made that caused its downfall. I mean its not going to end soon, but we are past our peak and on the way down. People need to pay attention to history more so we don't repeat it. Then again when you live in a nation as arrogant as this there is no hope.

I think they edited the media a lot in the 60's and 70's. I mean do you think it could change that much in the process of a couple of years. Because Malcom X was alive in the mid 50's. And they were distorting what he was saying like crazy.

Well it was still edited and controlled back then, but Malcom X was more radical than many other Civil Rights activists, but you have to be radical in order to bring change. He is one of the most important figures in that movemant. But the media was controlled by the white people still then, and alot of hte nation did not want to see segregation end, especially the south. The north not as much so. So he did have some bad slants put on his name, but he was basically on his own by the end. He was betrayed by the muslim community as well. If you want to see a really good movie on him see Malcom X. It has Denzel Washington, and I think was directed by Spike Lee. It was a very good film.

But during the 60s and 70s the media actually was openly oposed to the war and woudl show alot of the more graphic aspects of the war causing alot of hte homeland to be more actively against the war, but the youth of that generation was finally realizing that they had a say in the world, and they took advantage of it, as well as a makret overflowing with drugs. Well now peopel are dumbed by TV and video games, and the commercialism of the media today. They are much more ready to just listen to whatever andnot think. Why think when they have all the want. Well you will always have all you want if you don't look outside the box and see what else is available.

I rented the movie and it wasnt nearly as good as the book it was based on. And He wasnt betrayed by the muslim community because "The Nation of Islam" claim there muslims but arent really. And one thing is that there really is no proof that it was Elijah Mohammed who ordered the assasination. A lot of people think it was some other party....
