You know you have read too much Berserk when you spend the 8 hours you should have spent studying for the midterm math Exam philosophizing with a bunch of friends about the meaning of our existence, taking as a base the need for a reason Idea explained all humans have, and using Gatts and Griffith as the two main figures in whatever analogy you make to clarify a point you are making.
Wow. Eight consecutive hours? That's...impressive.

We took small breaks of 15 minutes every hour and a half.

We wrote it all down, may be, one day, if I have nothing else to do, I will translate it and post it here.

There was a guy who hadn't read berserk present.....the poor bastard was forced to hear all of it.

You know you've read too much berserk when you're having a nightmare and during the nightmare you're like "meh i've seen worse" thinking about Berserk, and then your nightmare gets worse :(

I think I got a good one here...

When you decide to go as Gats to an anime convention... and decided to wax yourself for it:

Yeah... I'm still bruised and red from it. We had no idea what we were doing. I was also trying to sign the Berserker song from that movie Clerks(?) but my mind was somewhere else.

The song in the background during the part that I watched (first few seconds of waxing) sounded like Fukuyama Masaharu, but then I recognized it as the ending song of Planetes. Nice music.

Not everybody. Just those of us who are secretly vampires or descended from vampires.

Meh. Any time you find yourself worrying too much about stuff like that, just recite to yourself, "I'm unique! Just like everybody else."

when you add a biology double major to your theatre major (and effectively a fifth year) in univeristy because years of watching and reading berserk has inspired you to try your hand at anatomy with the end result being a coroner, or surgeon. yeah, i want to cut up people for the rest of my life.

You read my mind dude!........That idea has crossed my mind quite a few times, but I always end up thinking: "Naw, I would lose an entire portion of my life, its not worth it."
Then I realize how much is it gonna be before Miura releases a new chapter and......I despair! And I begin considering going into coma....

Its an endless cycle of hopelessness.....Goddamn you Miura, you lazy bastard!

Go with suspended animation, instead of a coma. Then you can avoid the entire problem of loosing a large chunk of your life.

No, but I figure that if you freeze yourself now, it's even odds they'll figure out a way to bring you back before Berserk ends. (-:

If you remember different parts of the human anatomy for an exam by recalling when guts sliced through them.

If you'll be ready to take those in a year, then I'd be happy if they've managed to reach Elfheim by then.
