Sweet, you really got it figured out man
I always thought which material gave you +bonus or removed some of the xp bonus was either random or tied to the price of the material. Sweet guide Starnum.

Re: Final Fantasy XIII
Ok, help me understand weapon leveling, should I just use whatever item makes it level up faster or is there something more to this? Can I even know how they're gonna level up? I'm thinking I should stay away from this until later on when the weapons are stronger and leveling them is a a good idea ...

Re: Newbie Berserk Discussion Thread
Hey guys. I just wanted to say that the last chapters are really boring. I must say that Kentaro Miura somehow lost the direction of Berserk. Just watched an episode of that anime (also read the manga to the latest chapter) and i remembered that the anime's aim was that Griffith wanted to fullfill ...

I always knew that God of War had over the top violence but man oh man
I was really surprised by gouging out Poseidon's eyes...from Poseidon's POV
The best part of it was that you had to press both analog sticks down to do it, which mirrors the motion in reallife rather... creepi...

Concerning Eidolons: I usually get them out for huge mob packs because pretty much all their attacks are aoe. And they up the combo counter by a lot so I usually get mobs staggered much faster than with the normal 3 man party. Yeah their damage could be better, but you can summon them while your par...

Re: PS3 Thread
Okay, so the first half of the game is extremely linear. I don't really mind. I finally made it to Gran Pulse. It seems the side-quests are just monster hunts, for the most part. I don't know how extensive the free-roaming will be from here, but it would be nice if there were more to do than hunt m...

Final Fantasy XIII
Got Final Fantasy XIII on saturday. It. Fucking. Rocks. I really loved the combat system from the get-go. Reminds me A LOT of Persona's (3+4) combat system with Paradigm Shift having the part of changing Personas. And the story, really nice start too. I always like the (evil?) empire vs (not-so-good...

Re: Full Metal Alchemist 2
I watched episodes 35 - 46 yesterday, because I hadn't watched any anime for some time now. Really awesome how the story is going forward. It seems it's about engame now, so I think the series will have ~52 episodes again. To those who read the manga fully (I stopped reading somewhere around chapter...

AFAIK, in (certain parts of?) britain a cigarette is called a fag. When heard by americans, usually hilarity ensues.Starnum wrote:A square is also slang for a cigarette. In this case, I'm guessing a square is another name for a "John", but I really have no idea.

Finally watched Avatar on the big screen last night. And it was more awesome than I expected from all the reviews and opinions I've read/heared about it. I thought the movie and story itself was pretty epic and awesome. And because someone pointed out the relevance of USA vs Vietcong, USA vs Terror,...

I'll skip Krato's Inferno out of principle, but Bioshock 2 is getting my money for sure. I've been playing Borderlands recently and it's really cool, the game is basically Fallout 3 with an immense variety of weapons and 4 player co-op, minus the interaction with NPCs and only a so-so story. There'...

It's certainly lots of fun. But the best? Dunno. Haven't played it enough since I got it to conclude that (damn me and 5 RL friends getting back into wow with the final lich king patch :D) And it's definately a whole lotta better than Darkstalkers. The latter may have more of an zeldaesque open worl...

I want those giant smurfs (smurves?) slaughtered. By thousands. With chainsaw-machine guns. Humans = Imperium? ...
