Re: Claymore
There are the sword arms..... They just saved them for the big bang at the end. I'm not finding this all so bad. I guess the manga will reach much greater heights of greatness, but I'm not entirely dissatisfied anymore. Now only Raki needs to die....
Re: Berserk chapter: 289
Yay, thanks EG.
It's amazing that there are six posts or so in this thread, but already hundreds of seeds on the tracker.
On the other hand, if every one of them posted, this board would just blow up.

Re: Claymore
It's probably the fate that awaits slow pace un-finished manga when they get animated :? Well, it's quite simple, quality takes time. Sure you can churn out a chapter a week of a hastily drawn manga like Bleach and the like, but if you want detailed drawings, and done by hand, too, it'll just take ...
Re: Claymore
actually I kind of figured this is how the last battle in the manga would go. Not the exact location but the fact that Priscilla would remember Teressa's yoma. Now I have to agree with Brainpiercing there is no way that they could really sell this. Teressa could have been the strongest #1 ...
Re: Claymore
They really made Raki an annoying dork. And yes, I guess season 2 is definitely out of the question, now. I just hope they get a good final battle going. Although how Clare is supposed to get THAT good so quickly I don't know. I mean, Priscilla is made out as the most powerful awakened bein...

Re: Currently Watching?
Ok, so now I've watched Tengen up to 22. What I like about this show is that is so consequently eludes all logic and also that the guy with the bigger ego always wins. Like it should be, except other shows did this without the funky spiral meter. What I dislike: Grr, TWO recap eps before even one se...

Re: Currently Watching?
I'm a bit further into TTGL, but somehow it's not as good as the beginning. I hope it gets better again, in later eps. Loeviz are you watching raw or how do you get to ep 17+? The original (first) ending theme of Darker than Black is probably THE best ending theme I've seen in an anime so far. (I ha...
Re: Claymore
Well, at least 23 wasn't boring, even though I'm sceptical this will all work out.
Clare hasn't yet awakened her arms. But that means she will probably fight another big guy pretty soon now, so they can throw in the arms in that fight. And I guess Raki will save her in the end and not Jean....

SnM=Serei no Moribito.
I'm getting eps 1-5 of Tengen right now, will check it out. A lot of the torrents are down, tough.

Re: Currently Watching?
With SnM being a bit boring at times, and Claymore fucking up the last two eps, that leaves Darker than Black as the best show of 2007 for me. It's just got perfect mood. The stories aren't even that great, but the mood is wonderful.
Re: Claymore
I didn't mind the Clare/Raki story up to now, and I certainly didn't mind it in the manga. But it's getting ridiculous, and it's deviating pretty far from the manga.
Re: Claymore
Well, the last two eps have genuinely disappointed me. In 22 the switching between Raki and the battle was even more annoying. With the way they are going now there could even be filler before the season ends.
Re: Claymore
Same here. The Raki and Priscilla bit with her eating a human was just so lame.
Uh...
Alita always had a brain. Just cloned restored Alita probable never had one. Admittedly I think the Brain that fell into the trash heap probably wasn't quite that big, it was also incased in something.
oh my god! Still no direct link? You know, you are an idiot. And you've even posted in the interstice before. You should know where the directs are posted. In addition, you're an impatient idiot. And that really makes me wish I COULD block your IP, unfortunately I don't have that kind of control ov...

Re: Skull Man (TV)
I have to say that quite a few things are not clear to me, too. For instance, I never actually understood all the factions. And the end doesn't make too much sense, or it could have taken some more explanations. Well, it fit the atmosphere of the show, because you never understood what was really go...

Re: Berserk: 288 - "Sea Battle (1)"
GREAT work, EG, thanks. I'll upload and post a direct as soon as I get back home (which will be in half an hour at the most). Well, when the chapter preview was posted I was sceptical, but now I understand why Miura needed the sea battle: He's got to get Guts off his harem, and he needs some auxilia...

Not just in your opinion, mate. Anybody with red hair shouldn't cosplay Guts. Anybody with a frickin' beer trained podge shouldn't cosplay Guts.Starnum wrote: Heh, well, IMO anyway.
Galatea's fate just hasn't been touched upon. I'm guessing she won't be left hanging, and I also don't think she'll end up getting killed any time soon, even by the mother and freak-team.
Re: Devil May Cry
I still mostly watch it because it looks great - excluding the fight animations. Underneath it's very thin. Well, it feels like the bad story in a computer game, so I guess it's authentic. Most game stories aren't really as good as they seem when you play the game. This anime has: Weakish plots. Wea...

Seriously, Hiroaki Samura always does great character work, but he is certainly taking his time. How many times do we have to look into the mind of that damned Burando?
