I've heard (read, actually) that the first half of the movie is awesome, almost perfect. But suddenly the movie gets a little weird, and have a few WTF moments.

I might actually agree that Gatts was being a little Griffith-like in the beggining... but I don't think that was on purpose.

And now, if you remember, she was always attacking Gatts for doing that strategy He was the one charging and moving around - specially in the chapter / episode with the camp that had powder...

I think what really confirmed his wickedness (is that even a word?) was when they found the corpses of the guys who were defending the moth-apostle, Jill. (that was her name, wasn't it?) Of course, nobody asked themselves what the heck they were doing naked, but whatever

And if you remember, when she's with Gatts (right after he re-joins the Hawks) you see her body... she's fit, have muscles, scars, and such. Not even movies show a warrior-lady like that

And that means more Griffith, Charlotte and politicians. No Gatts yet.

I hope they wrap it up in this chapter. Can't wait for the "Elfhell"
