Hey, guys! Guess who only just a couple of weeks ago started playing Dark Souls 1 on PC?
I still have to get Dark Souls II after I'm done playing Dark Souls 1, and I also have to get a PS4 to play Bloodborne, so it's gonna be a while before I play Bloodborne.

Re: Berserk 337 - Bridge of Parting
I think the main problem with the newest hiatus is that neither Muira nor Young Animal have stated a reason for it. If Young Animal had at least said: "Miura is taking a vacation", then I doubt most people would feel as desperate for a new chapter as they probably feel right now.

Re: Metal Gear Solid Series
I love how in the Kojima interview he says MGS5 is gonna be the last MGS. Why even bother saying it anymore. Even if it's true, no one's gonna believe him. Anyway, in defense of MGS2, here's a little in-depth review I recommend to you that might change your mind on the game not being good: https://w...

That kind of ruins the point of making the Dragon Slayer, though.

Some people forged young Gut's sword
The people at Man At Arms: Reforged on youtube made young Guts' sword (incorrectly called it the Dragon Slayer though ). Still a pretty cool video:

Re: Find the Berserk connections (Symbolism thread)
Depends on how many similarities you see. Most of us could probably say that we got into manga or anime because of Dragon Ball Z, but even if some of us end up writing story of our own, how similar do you think it's going to be compared to DBZ? I haven't read Pygmalio, so I don't know, but did you s...

Re: Metal Gear Solid Series
I always saw MGS4 as a fan service extravaganza. Lots of weird decisions in story and appearances, I agree, but it seemed to me like MGS4 was made to be the MGS that ended all MGSs in terms of action, appearances and spectacle. Bringing Johnny Sasaki to the forefront and have him be a key player in ...

Ok, I'll bite. What is so abhorrently bad about MGS4? At worst I always figured it was on par with MGS2 overall.

I don't know if I've mentioned it here, but I'm a huge fan and have bought pretty much every major release of the MGS series (except for The Essential Collection and the PSP games), and... I haven't played Peace Walker. I bought the HD Collection so I own Peace Walker and can play it now, but I don'...

Re: New anime confirmed!!
So contrary to the pessimism that most people here have shown (including myself), the Golden Age Arc trilogy seems to have been very well received by pretty much everyone. Amazon reviews and the IMDB pages all point to the movies as very solid if not glorious, which leaves me wondering, were the mov...

There's an AMV thread here already, so you should post your video there, but that's a very nice video, it feels like a great teaser trailer for the trilogy.

Re: Berserk 337 - Bridge of Parting
I was actually surprised by Rickett's slapping of griffith. But, You can tell hes pissed in the last few panels, that cold emotionless face. While it doesnt concern with Guts, which I am simply waiting for, the story of rickett has actually given me a reason to like him now. Is he going to take the...

Re: Diablo 3
I played Diablo 3 again for a couple of days once the expansion update came up where they changed the loot drop rate and announced they were going to retire the Auction House, but before they actually did. I left off the game on late Act 3 and after the update I finally got some acceptable gear to f...

Re: PS4
I have to agree with Starnum here. If you remember the PS3 on launch didn't have a lot of its current features (it got the in-game XMB menu access almost 3 years after launching) and the library takes some time to grow (I remember how everyone praised Resistence: Fall of Man as a great game only bec...

Re: Berserk 335 - Divine Right
I looked at the fight in the port where Zodd and Guts join up because I wanted to see how Zodd talked about Griffith and he doesn't say anything other than he was sent there by him and that he's obeying his orders, but I noticed instead that there's another apostle that wanted to attack Guts and com...

Re: Berserk 335 - Divine Right
It's the tone that sounds odd to me. All the apostles know of the God Hand and what they can do (they're the ones that made them apostles in the first place), they also know Griffith was going to be the fifth one and that they're forced to follow him as well (part of the deal I guess). To them thoug...

Re: Berserk 335 - Divine Right
Zodd follows Girffith because all monsters defer to the God Hand and therefore Griffith (and that didn't happen easily either, Griffith had to cut off his horn to make him kneel), not because Griffith brings hope to the world or anything like that. Locus' little speech seemed too optimistic to be ut...

Re: Berserk 335 - Divine Right
Thanks as always, EG.
Locus speaking of divine right makes me feel that most of the Neo Band of the Ha... Falcon, was human until recently. I just can't imagine Zodd or any other monster that appeared before Femto's era (like Wyald, for example) ever speaking like that.

Re: What happened to Grifith's face when he was tortured?
Well, I didn't want to eat today anyway. Funny thing about that scene in the manga, even though I never saw a clear depiction of Griffith's face, I feel like I did. The whole scene implying how bad he looks makes me imagine it so vividly that, after some time has passed and I remember that scene, I ...

Very nice. Usually I roll my eyes when people mention to me that they made anything artistic (or if I'm being nice I just think "good for you" and promptly forget it), but I listened to yours and it was very good, I liked it.

Ok, I'm hooked. 2nd chapter was way stronger than the 1st at showing the characters, and I'm liking every bit.
I see LordMune and DrPepperPro are alone working overtime on this one. I really appreciate the effort, thanks a lot for the chapter.
