i realized that it was a stupid statement soon after i posted it. I meant to say that you probably only know of the more popular weekly series and that is why you think that all suck

alot of them do but you are probably basing that off of the more popular series that are scanlated. There are probably a bunch that are good that nobody wants to scanlate. I want to expand my group to scan some of those obscure titles but whatever.

farnese did have some backstory, but serpico is just the companion that has nothing to him. Then again, any and all backstory in berserk pales in comparison to the guts/caska/griffith backstory. However, Kamogawa and Nekota's past was some of the best backstory i have read in manga
