Re: Holiday Season

Not doing too much. Dinner at the in-laws, frying a turkey, couple christmas parties for work/friends.

Hopefully everyone can avoid imbibing too much during the season and getting behind a wheel of any sort.

Re: The one and only Xbox 360 thread

Tales of Vesperia is already out over here.

It's not bad, if you're a fan of the usual Tales games (I personally really enjoyed Symphonia) it'll be a lot of the same general game play.

Taken actually came out earlier this year in most parts of the world.

Although I don't advocate it, it's certainly not hard to find elsewhere before it even comes out here in North America.

Re: Berserk 300 - Sorceress of the Hawk

Is everyone really cluttering up a topic about Berserk on whether or not guys who can shoot fireballs from their hands, turn into 50' monkeys, and instant travel to any location have realistic emotions?

Also holy crap on the wall of text Starnum

Irvine's apostle form is awesome.

Thanks for this EG.

And the fact that we're continuing with the 2 week release dates is also a nice change.

Re: PS3 Thread

I'm still chugging away at Fallout 3.

Level 20, still going strong exploring as well as slightly working on the main storyline.

I'm really just trying to complete the 20 bobble heads and finding the 30 Nuka-Cola Quantum's for that woman.

Our gas prices went up another .04¢ a litre today...

Oh well. Still better than the $1.37 it was for a litre 2 months ago.

Yay Canada.

Re: PS3 Thread

As far as my understanding goes (Since I have the power armor as well) you most likely have to side with the Brotherhood of Steel in order to use the Power Armor through their training. As far as the mini nuke, yeah. That's the ammunition used in the Fatman. I've only found about 6 up to this point,...

Weapon which fires Miniature nuclear warheads.

Now that I've got one fully repaired it does about 921 damage, and the area around the blast stays radiated after you use the weapon.

Re: General Gaming News Thread

I've purposefully been staying away from D.C. in my game, exploring and doing as many quests as I can before going through the main story. Unlike previous Fallouts, there's no time limit so I'm not restrained by that, and from things I've heard [spoiler]You can't keep playing after you finish the ma...

Re: General Gaming News Thread

As far as I know, you can't marry in Fallout 3. You can get a apartment and furnish it with some amenities, but that's about it. I started playing it yesterday when it was released... completely enjoying it so far. I'm going the goody-two-shoe route as well. Quite humorous though, because after I tu...

Re: General Gaming News Thread

So I can't seem to find too much talk about it but... Did anyone get Fable 2? Edit: My only real beef with it is that it's rather short. I work 7:00 - 7:00, Monday - Friday, and 7:00 - 6:00 on Saturday, and I beat it this evening after I bought it Wednesday. At least you can continue playing in this...

I'm going back to 1 and 2 to get back into it!

I thought this would be a good topic to see what kind of stuff Evil_Genius guys are up to. Re: The one and only Xbox 360 thread

I absolutely loved the Shivering Isles expansion. I felt it was far too short though.

I still have to go collect my dragon armor from the armoury and finish hitting guildmaster with a faction in that game...hmmm.

Now I feel like playing Oblivion.

Do scientologists believe in an after life? Just checking. Reincarnation I believe. To be quite honest, I really didn't know much about Issac Hayes other than the fact that he was the voice of Chef on South Park until he left the show amid the conflict with his work and his religious beliefs. Not a...

There were certain parts of it I didn't like, but far more that I enjoyed to easily outweigh the negative. Selma Blair...
