Re: New anime confirmed!!

I agree entirely with the first three volumes being well placed.. but the only gripe I had with it was the fact that from the beginning they let us know "Griffith" was Guts "enemy", and if you keep that name in mind the whole time you know something bad is gonna happen. Maybe th...

Re: New anime confirmed!!

Yeah The Count was a bit more descriptive, I understand what you mean by presenting the story, I just find that it tells you too much. I knew Griffith was gonna betray Guts in a horrible way, what way i did not know but I saw it coming which takes away from the surprise effect. I don't know, it was ...

Re: New anime confirmed!!

Alright true, I guess it wouldn't make a lot of sense to leave out parts of the story considering how few Berserk chapters come out per year. You guys are a lot more polite that SK.net Well I used to go on SK.net and every time you were a new comer they'd bash anything you'd say. You'd write up thr...

Re: Evil-Genius's Berserk Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

True that, but apparently that wasn't their reason, the owner of the forum/site and scanlator told me he was not interested as where the story was going. Its a shame though, they would come out with great high quality scans because it was taken from the best source possible, the actual manga books. ...

Re: Berserk Cosplay

Well you did say you wanted to "lift a god damned sword". If we're talking about the generic sword, even the Zweihander doesn't need much strength to lift, wield is a different story. Even IF you were able to make a DS and it was 200 pounds I doubt any lone man could lift it from the hilt ...

Re: Berserk Cosplay

Nah Prince is right, a sabre is curved if anything Griffith wielded a Sabre, Caska a long sword. Just the hilt of Griffith's sword gives it away if you ask me. EDIT: Lonewolf, btw if you want to wield a sword 200 pounds heavy, good luck, you'll never lift it off the ground. As an exercise try liftin...

Re: Berserk 297 - The Blind Giant God

Royals kept it in the family so that their blood would stay pure. I imagine this wasn't the case for every royal family but I can imagine it being true for some families. Explains the dee-dee-dee ness of the medieval ages.

Re: Evil-Genius's Berserk Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Actually Volume 33 has taken over a year to complete since its first chapter release so you could even say less then 1 volume a year. EDIT: Btw Im a casual of the Hawks and no they do not scanlate the volumes anymore. The scanlators lost interest in the story and don't care for Berserk anymore. All ...

Re: Berserk 297 - The Blind Giant God

Agree'd this will be the same thing as the witch's house. He won't regain his arm, I highly doubt it. The arm is there as a constant reminder of the horrors he had gone through in the eclipse. He won't resprout anything, at most I can see him gain some sort of new equipment at Elfhelm to maybe lesse...

Re: Berserk 297 - The Blind Giant God

Skellig is the island and Elfhelm is the place on the island itself.
