i hope they keep the balance in check more than anything. blizzard have confirmed (the footage makes it obvious too) that it will be a game of hard counters like the first.

i think this is the sleeping routine most pirates used (not sure about the 6 times a day), and was one of the many reasons they were oh-so crazy

This article didn't actually relate to anything that we were talking about. I have never argued that there aren't generally psychological reasons for why people torture each other, what I argued was that these reasons couldn't be called instinctive or natural . Nothing in the article you quoted see...

We should distinguish functional torture from the sadistic variety. The former is calculated to extract information from the tortured or to punish them. It is measured, impersonal, efficient, and disinterested. The latter - the sadistic variety - fulfils the emotional needs of the perpetrator. Peop...

i hope thats fake info in that quote because as much as i love SC/BW i would not find a SC based mmo at all appealing and THQ is working on a warhammer 40k mmo, which has a much deeper storyline and loads more potential

Not every aspect. For example, no other species has the concept of war, and no intelligent species kills for fun, no other species commits torture, etc. Interesting how the most evil aspects of our society are amoung the ones unique to us (the ones that can't be blamed on instincts) isn't it? im go...

yikes, I don't mean to be disrespectful towards you but that statement is haltingly awkward unless you can explain what 'work itself out' actually means and 'forever no matter what' is how you test it. the way you said the climate is swinging like a pendulum gives the sense that its in control. i u...

both of you are missing the point. Climate change does happen. i know full well the climate changes without any human interference, all ive said is that CO2 ppm is currently way way lower than it has been. if you want proof of the climate not being a pendulum, look at venus where a runaway greenhou...

wasnt it square(if not it was some other big publisher) who refused to release any games on the N64 due to an argument with the nintendo head? Actually, I think that cartridges costs a bundle to produce and is rather unreliable, while they can maximise their profits with CDs. I'm sure that's one of...

1) The climate is changing 2) Climate changes are common considering the vast body of evidence 3) Humans do impact climate change, but do not cause climate change It really is that simple. this is boderline OT, but did anyone actually like FFXII? i found it was just a cross-country of fields/dungeons to unlock the next installment in the dull storyline. i hope they saved the goodies for 13 and i cant trust any review site to be honest in a review instead of usual FF auto high-score. t...

Are you serious? You know how blizzard is with releasing games. If they're not confident with a game at any point in its development they'll cancel it or totally redesign it. Ok, first of all you seem to be contradicting yourself here. In the first paragraph, you say that killing someone you've never met is an act of insanity, either a chemical imbalance, previous trauma, or society pushed them to it. In the second paragraph you say that killing for gain is part of natu...
