Cool. Unfortunately, they've already dug up a ton of information from Viking burial sites - I doubt this will add anything of significance. Still, new discoveries are always cool.

Finally finished Last Exile, and now debating whether to watch a series with a finite ending (aka Scrapped Princess or maybe something older) or catching up with Bleach. Decisions, decisions.

New Year's Resolution: Watch more anime to avoid difficult decisions.

As for the whole eye candy thing, I think it is well drawn at key moments in the series. But it's asking a little much to expect OVA production values on an extended show like Naruto. Indeed; I wouldn't expect OVA-quality animation and art from a continuous series, either. I would, however, expect ...

There it is. Nice and serene... and boring. I'm far too lazy to look for lazy images, and it's always nice to sit down at the computer and have something there to relax me.

EDIT: Are the PS2 game's romanizations Miura's too (Gurunberd instead of Grunbeld)? Most likely. To be honest, I think it might have been better if Miura had consulted a native English speaker before releasing official romanizations - his quite frequently make little sense. Anywho, thanks for the h...

Most recent game I've played? Uh... Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. What can I say? It's pretty much the perfect game for me. Expansive, fully-explorable world, tons of side-quests, an engaging storyline (once you actually decide to explore it), a strong levelling system (not perfect, but very good), ...

EG quality is above Hawks works . Quoted for Truth. I don't own any of the DH releases yet, but I only started reading about two months ago, and I'm kinda poor at the moment. Soon as I get enough spare cash to sling around a couple hundred bucks, I'll start buying them a couple at a time. And Sion,...

Just finished blasting through Mai-Hime/-Otome. Now starting in on Last Exile. Boy the animation is amazing, if frequently physics-defying (mainly in regards to the machines - the characters are spot on).

I like the last quote especially. It succinctly demonstrates the idiocy and gullibility (not to mention over-bearing self-righteousness) of so many Americans, something I've been trying to do for years. I need to remember to read more Dawkins.

The plot isn't outstanding, but at least is ain't as brain-dead as Dragon Ball Z. It's just panned out over a lot more episodes than your typical anime. Try marathoning the show and you'll see it come together. I don't think the plot is planned out at all. It's like Inuyasha (god I hate that show) ...

Something tells me this is just a ploy for Rumsfeld to save some face on his way out. It seems very out of character for him to suddenly change positions and suggest a dissenting opinion.
