And Skull Knight said that not a being of the mortal world can touch Griffith. In order to touch him, you must be out of the Mortal World. Like the forest witch, Gatts, and Ganishka as well. Let me remind you as to exactly what Skull Knight said (bear in mind this is a Hawks scanlation), "The ...

Why are people saying that Guts won't show up again 'til next year? That's more than 10 months without the main character... unlikely to say the least. I think the story will focus on Griffith for a while, but that doesn't necessarily mean that Guts won't be featured in the odd chapter now and then....

Mmm, there are so many good things about Fridays... er, thanks guys. :D 42, I couldn't agree more. I didn't expect to see a face to face confrontation so early on, and I was a little disappointed (albeit not surprised) that Ganishka had no tactical answer to the Hawks. Still, I thought it was a fuck...

Yeah, Flora's mansion lay on the interstice (the border of the astral world), so she was able to prolong her life substantially. Thanks to the brand Guts remains in the interstice permenantly, but I don't think that prevents him from aging altogther. If you ask me, it looks like he's matured quite a...

Re: miura's absence

60 - 90 volumes, eh? It's taken over 15 years to get where we are, so can we expect another 15+ years of Berserk? I don't see why not. Rumors spread online through the Japanese web in 2006 that the series could be coming to a grand finale soon. Those sentiments apparantly sprung from another one of ...

Another possibility, although a bit implausible one, is that Rakshas did it without Griffith's knowledge. Remember him telling Griffith that he will one day claim his head. If Silat already sees Griffith as a monster after what happened in the tower of rebirth, then maybe Rakshas is trying to turn ...

Deathbringer wrote:How many volumes does Miura intend to make for Berserk?
A lot... I don't think he's ever given a definite number. Miura did say in an interview that he was inspired by Guin Saga, and that manga has released 100+ volumes. That's the only interview I know of. :?

A possible twist for Silat may be becoming an apostle. He seems ambitious enough, and he wants something. Freedom for his people. It could also give him the opportunity to be relevant to the story again. Thats a cool thought. Clearly his cronies are strong...but not that strong..not enough to make ...

What do you think Silat is gonna contrib to the Plot? I can speculate that he may try to assassinate the Emperor after being appalled by the Daka creation area that Rakshas showed him.Even with his diesel bodyguards he would prob just get murked very swiftly. I mean his bodyguards look hard and all...

In Midland he'll be classed as King, I think. Still, we're getting a bit ahead of ourselves, this battle ain't over yet! Really though, considering how much build-up there was leading up to this, it'd be a bit anticlimactic if it was over so soon, don't ya think? Ganishka must have known that the Ha...

Well, for almost two volumes now (maybe more) it's been non-stop action, so the characters haven't really had a chance to properly interact. I also heard that in this YA, Miura said that all he did during those 4 months was draw soldiers, so this particular battle could be a long one. :)

It'd be a good prize cause it's a privilege only the mods have. Then again, the mods would have nothing to play for. :P

Yeah, he adjusts. This is a given. Its not 'blindness' either. Second, he doesnt 'regrow' his left hand. When he first receives the Berserker armor at Schierke's safe haven when the Neo Hawks attack, we see that Gatts uses the cannon against an apostle. It has been a while since he last used the ca...

The Dragon Slayer is so damn big that it wouldn't matter. :P I don't think his blindness holds him back. In a chapter just after the eclipse, it shows Guts chopping fish under a waterfall and he seems to adjust well enough. You know, when the Berserk's Armor takes over he "regrows" his lef...

Stupid theory time. One day, Irvine (the blind archer) was out hunting when he was mauled and sexually molested by a bear. As he lay there half-dead he called the God Hand and decided he wanted his ruined body no longer. He sacrificed that and became the ultimate weapon so he could have his revenge....

Raban is likely more concerned with the Kushan and the shit they are causing. He'll pick up on Griffith's condition once the enemy is driven back. Speaking of which, this battle could end the war. Ganishka is weakened and somewhere on the battlefield. If Griffith takes part and performs another mira...

Silat is definitely loyal to his people, but not necessarily to the Kushan Empire. If he decides to leave, Griffith would be the better option in the long-term, at least from Silat's point of view. Guts is just one man, out for himself and like Istvan said, he doesn't have the resources (or the time...
