I was thinking the same thing. It made me think a live-action Berserk movie could actually be done right. Quite true. Even how limbs and heads were cut off and all the grotesque enemies they fought reminded me of Berserk. But also story parallels, I guess the elements in it are common in history th...

I saw Ghost Rider a couple of weeks ago, I was going in with so little expectation of it, that it ended up being rather entertaining. I suspended disbelief and just hoped like hell that it would be relatively good acting. I wasn't expecting to laugh during the movie, but that's what most of the thea...

Intestines being sucked through a pool filter is incredibly far fetched. It's held in there pretty damn good by a network of fibrous matter and vessels. To pull it out would either require you to cut the anus off and pull with considerable force to tear all of the interconnections, or for the intest...

Am I the only one that's surprised that final fantasy didn't make top ten? btw according to the article: Games are ranked by units sold; then by revenue generated. This list is for the U.S market only. This list only features games released since the introduction of PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube....

Because of the addition of the 3 characters, it makes the space look empty, even though it's actually used more space than the first one. Looks unbalanced. Plus, according to the creator's comment, I refuse to believe he would serpico/isidoro on his mind more often than Caska

I just saw V for Vendetta the other day as well. It reminded me of Orwell's 1984 mixed with Aeon Flux, except way better. lol I also saw scary movie 4 on the same day, that was better than I expected, but not something I would've paid for. I finally got to watch Office Space, and now that I work in ...

MySpace surpasses Yahoo

MySpace wouldn't be so bad if the pages weren't so poorly designed. Several jarring bright colours for backgrounds mixed with random blaring music and several megs of images to be downloaded is not fun.

The host country always does well (above expectations) so I'm voting for Germany to win. But Brazil is filled with superstars, so I'm saying final game, Brazil vs Germany. Germany wins in sudden death.

Maine took their sex offender (read: not all pedophiles) list off the 'net because a guy killed two people on the list. Check that thread for the ensuing moral debate. I realize there are morons, but believe me - conscious thought did take place. Sex offenders would mean those who have committed se...

Okay, since we can't rid ourselves of rapists and pedophiles as of yet. I don't believe it is in our right to judge what the mother ...

A lot of the religious themes can be almost directly linked to Medieval Catholicism. They have that bird emblem instead of the cross, they take the word of the priests to be just and in total accord with justice. The group of men that the crazy priest guy were like the inquisition and you have a gro...
