I know you didn't start from 1 but that reflects how long it has been.

Sometimes I just wonder what the manga industry in Japan think of Miura and the way Berserk was dragged on .

This mini arc could very well be made years ago.

His erratic work ethic, as much as it discourages the readers, is surely blocking Miura from fulfilling his life's potential.

OK I'll ask the most obvious question

Khelegond's choice #3 seems very valid, but I'd rather go extreme and demand the most unpredictable: some member of the Neo Hawk shows up and save Guts without any reason!

That would put the readers back in the dark for at least a while - Miura just love it that way
