Re: Shigurui
I completely missed this thread. Either way, Shigurui is pretty high on my list of favorites for obvious reasons. Like DDP said, the story pretty much starts off showing us the main characters and then proceeds directly into a flashback that shows what happened. Though most probably read it for the ...

Re: Casshern SINS
I've taken an interest in this even though I've never bother with the OVA, movie, or anything else. Instead of coming across as melodramatic, I believe it is a good example of not going too deep into the grim dark and the like. It was the artwork that originally attracted me, but I do like the poign...

Yeah, it's messed up.
At any rate, I knew about Hayes thanks to the Shaft theme long before I even knew about South Park.

Re: Superhero comics and other comics.
I thought I left a post a long time ago but I wanted to thank everyone who participated in the thread. I always wanted to get into comics, but I always ended up confused as to where I wanted to start or what run to look at. It's thanks to this thread that I sat down and took a look at Punisher MAX (...

This shit is freakin amazing. That's why the new Gundam is one of the best in a while!
In these last few episodes 00 has been going Victory on me but I'm cool with that.

Re: Sigs I've made.
Nice, but could you perhaps talk about some of the filters you used and what did to make them? Probably give a link or two to some of the tutorials you used if any? That way you can help some people learn instead of making signatures for them.

I must admit I have a soft spot for silly stupid so My Name is Zushio is pretty amusing to me.
Can't forget to mention Yakitate Japan though. Those reactions are something else.

Re: Gundam 00
I'm enjoying it, but I've only seen the first 6 episodes. I should go check to see if more are out now. I never watched Gundam Seed or Destiny. *shrugs* **Update** Wow, things are really starting to heat up. This series, despite it being a mecha anime and all, feels so real to me. It just seems so ...

Re: ::Claymore::
I'm extra late like always but I'm glad people actually read Claymore now. I remember when I thought I was the only person that actually liked it but it's all good. Either way, I like how things turned out recently and I even started buying the series. Concerning Raki, his character was pretty flat ...
Re: Gundam 00
The only Gundam I could stand for more than five episodes was Turn-A. Maybe I'm gay or something. Nothing wrong with that. Turn A was a well crafted series and went pass the normal standards of Gundam by open accepting that the series didn't always have to be war or mecha driven. By using the dynam...

I'm late but I'm kind of disappointed to see people even compare Cowboy Bebop to Evangelion. Nothing to do with it, but I was cool with Final Fantasy 7 even if it's not the best game or RPG ever. Evangelion not having character development is probably the craziest thing I heard in a while. While the...

Yeah, things are getting real crazy. I understand why though, like someone mentioned in a prior post, Israel has been fighting from the get go and they can't afford to negoiate with terrorist. If they bend for a captured solider or two then someone would just get five next time or eleven after that....

Regardless of the music, it is only for opening and ending, which is spaced out by 130 minutes. You should be safe. :P Agreed. I watched the first two and liked them but I enjoyed the ending of the first movie the most. I never saw Zeta completely and, even if I'm already spoiled, I thought it woul...
