Re: Waiting on Miura is a bitch
By the way how many "actual" years has it been since Guts and crew left for that stupid Ferry Island? They got on the boat in Chapter 278, which came out during the summer of 2006. It's been four years! What I find crazy is when Dark Horse first began releasing English volumes, I was disa...

Re: Berserk 305 - Foundation
The light is turning regular creatures into fantasy creatures. The unicorns at the end are the regular horses in the first frame of the second page. I'm not sure. Those unicorns were in the forest when we first see them, and they are not wearing any reins, nor pulling the plow. I think that they ar...

Let me get this straight...Is Elfheim covered in this light as well? Puck discussed how unicorns exist in Elfheim. Dang it, the light is covering the entire world immediately. That is insane. Thanks EG for an awesome release! :D The light is turning regular creatures into fantasy creatures. The uni...

After reading this chapter, I'm starting to wonder if Ganishka's whole purpose in Idea's plan is to meld the Abyss with the physical world. Ganishka says he has obtained the Abyss of Hell. So if he is the physical embodiment of the Abyss in the physical plane and Griffith defeats him, perhaps that w...

Re: Berserk 294 - Exodus
I really would have thought there would have been at least a couple of panels way back to introduce this traitor or the idea that the Kushan aren't one monolithic anti-midland entity. I'm not sure what needed to be done to make me think Silat would be persuaded to let them go. Something just seems ...

Hahaha what's funner is when you see a mistake, but no one else sees it. You will get mad that they don't see it. I love drawing hahahaha!!! Maybe for you, or most other artists, this is a problem. However, I deny that Miura's art has such things as "mistakes." You should bow before the m...

Re: Berserk 292 - Mist of Death
It's a toss up between Ganishka and the Eclipse being that Large Dark Shadow in the Dream. How about it being SLAN'S Huge God Head. It has the silouhette of her dome peice. :D I really believe the evidence strongly suggests the shadow is Ganishka, but Miura can do whatever he wants so who knows wha...

I wouldn't argue against that possible scenario, but then the Eclipse would be the storm, not the giant black shadow.Aetherfukz wrote:Although the storm could be an eclipse viewed from outside.Turd Ferguson wrote:The prophecy also states that a "shining bird" will summon a storm and blow the shadow away.

Re: Berserk 292 - Mist of Death
I really doubt there is going to be an Eclipse. All this Eclipse speculation got started when the children of Whyndam had a dream about a giant shadow blocking out the sky. I think it was made pretty clear in the last chapter that the giant shadow is going to be the super-powered Ganishka.

GODDAMNIT WHERE R U 293! Four months is the precedent for longest delay, at least as long as I've been here. We're not even to the halfway point of that wait yet, and who's to say Miura might not be going for a new record? Buckle down and prepare yourself for some possibly very lean times.

The massive invasion of Virtanis by the Kushan regular army took place in September of 2006. Then Miura took FOUR MONTHS off and returned in January with the chapter where Irvine shows up and begins decapitating Kushans with his arrows from afar.

I'd be willing to wager that Guts is still only 22. As mentioned, Guts is 21 when he returns to Godo's and find Casca missing. Acording to Rickert, Albion is a three day walk away. Guts leaves immediately, and the shit hits the fan as soon as he gets to Albion. The action in Albion only spans two ni...

I was answering to Seraph. He said He thinks Guts and the beast are one. Oh yeah, you're right, I forgot that the dark horse translations are a little different. Anyway, Isidro didn't know how heavy the sword was, so his comment on the sharpness could've been from what he perceived in the fight, not proof that the sword is really that sharp. It was only a few seconds la...

Re: Berserk Cosplay
I just checked the chapter where Isidro joins Guts and I didn't see him comment on the sharpness of Guts blade, only on how big and heavy it was. I guess it depends on the accuracy of the translation you're reading. In the official Dark Horse English release, Isidro says, "So sharp! So massive...
