well, femto is one of apostles "guarding angels"...but there's a change of hearth in the apostles. For zood at least...before he was searching for a rival and the next battle, now he's really whishing to serve griffith.

So in light of the recent chapter, i had an interesting thought; what if Griffith has dispatched regiments to save those that were close to Guts in his travels. Like the girl that swore she would kill him in like the third volume. Or the whores from Albion, and Jill from the children arc... anyway ...

It's just a conjecture, take it with a grain of salt. I'm afraid that maybe the kid is a avatar of Griffith. Femto certanly changed after returning to the "real" world. He do feel his hearth pulsing faster when he was around Gats and Caska, even if he denied it. Maybe it was because femto ...

i have read numerous times people making connections bettwen berserk and macbeth, but it normaly was about similarities bettwen Griffith and lord Macbeth himself. But in the last time i re-read the manga (i end up doing it 1-2x per year, when new chaps are released =/) guts's birth caught my atentio...
