Re: Interesting links

I guess this really mostly interesting to me, but here's a beautiful and hardhitting, and extremely too short song (based on a 2Pac poem) from Mos Def I cant get enough of. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qv7G84ip6V0 Who am I? Panther! Who am I? Panther! what I got? I Got soul! What I got? I Got Love...

Re: 48% of Americans Reject Evolution

Who are you trying to impress with your rambling? No offense, but little of the "sharing" of your idea of these confused notions make any sense. You are misusing the word metaphysics in quite horrible way, it doesnt make sense just because you throw out the word metaphysics. Here's a defin...

Re: Interesting links

Even if she is naturally dumb, this girl is trying to get famous (or is) by being super duper dumb ala Jessica Simpson. She is a former American idol contestant, and when she realised she aint special at singing, she got attention for her daftness, and is now running along with it/enhancing/faking i...

Re: Free Rice

Yeah good ol' latin/Greek connects alot of the western languages quite deeply regardless of how elvoved the national words have become. I also managed to guess on alot of words I never seen in print/read before because of the very small and faint similarity it has with some swedish word.

Re: Free Rice

Yeah same here :o Thought my grasp of english was generic/shallow but I apparently unconsciously know alot of hard words (even with options, pretty tough/obscure/text book words). It was a fine test to upgrade ones vocabulary, but also when I was unsure of words, I was tempted to look them up simply...

Re: Can I tell you... freespeech, propaganda, or anti-religion?

I know you are a simpleton, but you dont need to parody yourself with posts like that. One can be realistic enough and realise the real politik, but the issue was you saying its stupid to factor in how fucked up oppressed they have been in the past, and still are, that it shapes them and pretty much...

Re: Can I tell you... freespeech, propaganda, or anti-religion?

P.S Brain piercing, do you still think its stupid that a countries history of fucked up instability and oppression shapes it for what it is;) (big reason why Iraq and Iran are they way they are, while Turkey and Tunisia for example are peaceful) Or just conveniently ignoring the post ;) Yes, the pa...

Re: Can I tell you... freespeech, propaganda, or anti-religion?

I would say Tunisia has had VERY benevolent presidents. In their modern history, the only have had few presidents. They basically stay in power quite long (quite painless and without conflict). But they have taken care of their country perfectly and cleanly, socially reforming and with great economi...

Re: Can I tell you... freespeech, propaganda, or anti-religion?

Quite frankly, putting all the violence in the middle east down to "oppression" of one or another kind is just as stupid as putting it all down to religion. I said before, the hatemongers probably have their reasons, which have nothing to do with religion at all. They want personal power ...

Re: Can I tell you... freespeech, propaganda, or anti-religion?

When I said shia muslims are a quite small minority, I meant world wide not Iraq. In whatever country they are in, they are a minority mostly except Iran (where the shia "seperation" occured).

Re: Can I tell you... freespeech, propaganda, or anti-religion?

Atleast its somewhat understandable to say religious is an important factor when extremists entice desperate people (due to poverty or frustration due to war conflicts or financial oppression etc) to their cause. Even if religion is simplified as the only reason. But what I dont get is how would rel...

Re: Can I tell you... freespeech, propaganda, or anti-religion?

FYI, thats just my style and not being too emotional, even if one emphasizes certain things in this because one is frustrated by simpletons ignorance and the influence that ignorance has in the world (that ignorance like this feeds generalisations, very dangerous generalisations that contribute to t...

Re: Can I tell you... freespeech, propaganda, or anti-religion?

What I hate most in the world is ignorant people who take the easy way out of over-fucking-simplifying things with the smallest of notions. The fact that people like that are killing eachother has NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING to do with religion. The turmoil is caused by quite inherently the history ...

Yeah I know. I think thats why they are addressing them in this clearly clownish and humorous way (also with singing/dancing because as said, highly appriciated there), because if they did a serious attempt of promoting safe sex, too many people would be embarrassed and feel awkward, and the message...
