After reading EG’s release and comparing it to FH’s, I can see clearly that EG has superior quality in translation. So I’m definitely waiting Sept 28 for EG’s release and no one else’s.

Biomega didn’t make the cut, but is going through QA at the moment. We are still working on it, you guys know we don’t release 1 of everything even though we sometimes wish we could.
As for Blame! Academy 2, I’m not sure about that. I’ll let Mune (who edits Biomega) and Nominomo (who translates) figure out if that is something else they want to work on.
AH is still being worked on, but Zetman is on hiatus till the volume/Tank arrives. We sometimes find chapter scans on share/winny but the quality isn’t all that great so we chose quite some time ago to wait on the tanks.

Sorry to point this out, cause i am ever so grateful for the newest Berserk chapter, specially with little puck dressed up as a captain! But you missed out one caption on the first page at the bottom.. But dont worry 🙂 i still love it all the same 😀 just thought i would point it out. Waiting a whole month for this chapter was totally worth it. Thanks EG for once again giving us high quality translations at fast speeds.
Btw. At page 18 of this chapter, do the kanjis mean “growl…” or something, so they didn’t need to be translated, since it was kinda obvious and would ruin the page if it would be put on a speech-bubble?

keith, Berserk is published in the Young Animal magazine.
Sheepy Pie, you’re right, we missed that. I usually clean it first before I put the text in, and at that point when I was typesetting, it seemed like it was part of the explosion cartoon that Miura likes to use sometimes, so Mystic and I missed that. When it was proofed, the final product was checked, but not against the Japanese raw.
Shinobi, I could only presume it was a growl. Since we only translate text that are in speech bubbles, (with the exception of dialogue outside the bubbles) we don’t generally translate SFX or sounds unless they’re inside the whites of the bubbles.
Thank you all for your support and hope you enjoyed reading this chapter. Also, thanks to psi for making the blog post more interesting, as it was originally very dull. The gist of it was ‘here’s the chapters, more chapters are coming’. I usually don’t like the hassle of all this posting and uploading stuff, but psi had to step out for a bit so I had to do it.

The Beast wants to be freed.But doing so it will trigger the “Other side” of Guts…The side which makes demons cry and people die.Does that mean he will be swallowed up by his inner darkness…Look at him now.The Beast is attacking him knowing that Guts is weak right now,and this time Schierke won’t be able to help him.Does that mean Guts have an alter ego?Is he gonna be overtaked by his own evil?Gotta see the next issue!I hope that soon he will start to swing The Dragon Slayer again and loose that damn cursed armor…

Lone Wolf…”Dragon Slayer”… that reminds me, I totally want to know more of the backstory behind that sword, Goto was really vague.
And Aetherfukz, yeah, it’s Cowboy Bebop. That ending disappointed me only because I could not bring myself to care about Julia at all. But yes, it was a really awesome moment.

Well there’s nothing more to know about it.The only sword that can kill a dragon whit a single strike,single swing…Well the dragon was really killed,the sword was so BIG and heavy that no living human can bare to fight whit it.Well it makes me wonder…Why Goto run away?Why the king what him dead back then?He done his job-to create that sword.And now this sword is in the hands of Guts,yes he can swing and kill 5 men whit single strike.he can chop demons whit it like there piece of wood but thats all minor glitches…It’s the power,that dark aura surrounding the huge sword,making him more than a hunk of iron.This sword is unbelievable weapon.Nothing more to say but—-> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfwAliUOqzo
