We have 5 chapters of goodness for you all, so without wasting any more time…
Note: NHK has a typo, it claims to be v4, but is actually v5. Don’t let that through you guys off. That was our mistake.
So you all may be wondering where Berserk 280 , NHK 28, and BReaction is. Well, Berserk is unknown as the next YA issue will not have it, so we will have to wait another month to find out if it is coming. NHK 28 is cleaned, awaiting translation. BReaction is coming along, yes we have claimed that is ‘coming soon’. Turns out we didn’t like the translations we had and want to spend an extra week cleaning it up. So we are shooting for next weekend with more Zetman, BR, and hopefully NHK.
We at EG say thank you for putting up with our delays. It just really can’t be helped, it is a hobby for us after all. It would be great if people who have the know how to step up and help us out. We always have room for translators, even if it is just to proof work. You don’t have to go at it alone, our team likes to put several heads on a project.

Yeah, we don’t have an active translator for NHK, so the pace right now is a bit sluggish.
Just because 4chan is releasing theirs, means in anyway that we dropped it. We will continue releasing in our own pace, I can’t quite possibly do anything about them, or the pace we’re releasing at.
Would be nice if we actually had more Japanese translators.

I was just wondering but because the post said that there were 5 new chapters and that it was also posted in berserk would mean that there would also be a new chapter of the aforementioned.
Is it just that I’m for some reason unable to get to the apropriate torrent or was it never posted in the first place?

Bob: We have indeed released 5 chapters. If you have counted, you would have found out. If you have actually taken the time to read the post, you should have read that Berserk was mentioned in the post, hence the relevance in the Berserk category. I’m quite confident in your ability to read and count, so don’t make me doubt you.
Listen, everybody, we will tell you when there is a next chapter out for Berserk. Nobody knows. We aren’t miracle workers or see through the future. We are probably more hungry than you are for Berserk. So everyone, just calm down. I have made numerous, numerous posts regarding Berserk release date – NOBODY KNOWS. In fact, I’ll edit this newspost to inform all of you about this – I understand that not everyone goes to the forum for latest updates, or could be bothered to read…so hopefully, I can make it all clear and all of you will shut the hell up about it. To the rest of you, thank you for understanding and being so patient.

Thank you for great job, indeed. The only think I don’t like is the inconsistency in filename/file formats (png and jpg) used for NHK. e.g ‘NHK_v02c006.rar’, ‘[Evil_Genius]NHK_v03_c011.rar’, ‘NHK_v04_c16[Evil_Genius].rar’. It’s difficult to sort them. I tried to group the chapters in a single rar file for each volume in order to read them with CDisplay but it didn’t work because of that: the different filenames and formats. I would suggest that you should pick a filename format and a file format, either png or jpg and stick to them.

It should always be ‘[Evil_Genius]NHK_v03_c011.rar’ nominclature, however we all take turns releasing. As for the formats, depends on the raw that we get, sometimes they come in jpg sometimes they come in png. We try to keep it in the same format it came in, so it is up to the scanner. For NHK, that typically is up to random people in Japan. We really have no control over the quality of the raw. Can’t please everyone. 😛
